@DonCab2112 Actually... SAW is just a designation to automatic weapon that shoots standard rifle round (5.56, 5.45, 5.8, etc.) and M249 is standard SAW in US Military. Back in Vietnam M60 may have done that job as well, but, as you already stated, it is a 7.62x51 FP Machine Gun.
