When I was 9 I was at my friend's house and we were on her trampoline and the tornado siren went off and we ran to the door and it was locked. Her mom finally came and got us though. I was so scared!

I used to climb antenna towers around electricity and even during electrical storms. I figured if I took those chances and made it to this day then going outside at ground level should be much easier. My youngest daughter runs to her room and gets under the covers.

I could relate to that too. The other day the lightning strike was so close that the thunder it created was very intense, it shook the glasses on the table and I felt the rumble in my chest as if I were enclosed inside a huge woofer speaker while hit with a blast of bass!

I am addicted to feeling the storm and experiencing it with an unobstructed view. Those darn windows get all fogged up and wet and muffle the sound of the wind, rain, and thunder.

It was great!! The steak was good and the misty breeze was great. This was better than watching TV. I had true surround sound and the visual effects were great!!

Hi Huy,

We all survived the storm, I can't say much for the electronics and appliances in the neighborhood. We had some close strikes and power outages and surges so I know there will be people buying new TV's and other appliances this weekend. I have been seeing more junk on the side of the roads so that's the first sign.

Luckily the steak came out fine, a little watered down since it poured down heavy soon as I opened the grill but I just added more A1 sauce to it and fixed that problem.

The weather starts getting wild this time of year! I gave up on picking up the table and other items that kept on getting blown around.
