@cantstopmebitch Nope , they take place a couple years after MGS4 (snake is young in MGA but old in MGS4) & they are a separate chain of events that start after shadow moses (so MGS2 never happened) . basically no lol

@cantstopmebitch Nope. Just side stories that are just for fun and don't tie into the other games. Snake is really the one and only character from the other games. All of the other characters are completely original.

It an't like the other metal gear games. It's a strategy game. I would explain how to play it, but it is kinda complicated. To sum it up, it's like playing a board game. It's preatty fun(not as fun as the other metal gear games) and it definetly worth 20 bucks.
