  • i wanna ride that :3

  • holy shit...!!! the tire growth reminds of a top fuel dragster...!!! might not be good...? but it's LOOKS cool as hell...!!!

  • the tires start balloning 1:30

  • how much u paid for that

  • It's average horsepower you are concerned with not peak. Don't let the idoits tell you other wise. You don't always run at 8000rpm, you run a column or xxxx to xxxx. Understand?

  • What were the tires rubbing exactly???

  • i like how the tires baloon out lol

  • your tires were rubbing the entire time....

  • is dirt falling from tire at every stop? if not what is? bike looks clean. i have a shee 01 all white clean as the docs office.

  • Dude my just had my 2010 kfx450 on a dyno last week with a full motoworks system and programmer and it had 44 at the rear

  • If that is little Sahara sand dunes in Utah, that could be why it seems he's lost so much power. The elevation there is around 4600-4800 feet. So that could eat up a couple of hp.

  • @faahQu didnt efi fix that elevation problem? your talking bout the renegade right?

  • @TheTazzyT EFI will adjust so that it wont run too rich or too lean, but the higher the elevation is, the less horsepower your are going to have because the oxygen content in the air isn't as high.

  • what kind of exhaust does this one have on it? sounds like a beast! if that's 45.5.. my cat 700 must be like 10! nice bike though!

  • Who dynos a bike from a dead stop like this guy????? First ive seen

  • my 550 grizz puts out 43....

  • redo this you cant see the tier stoping it put it on a bigger dyno

  • srsly 800 ccs 45.5 fucking weak

  • haha what a girl has to wear ear mufs so u dont hurt ur litttle ears

  • he deff hit the 4 instead of the 6

  • How much do they charge? I might put my bike on the dyno during SandFest in September.

    RattleSnake 2010 was a BLAST!!!

  • lol if you did the dyno right it would tell you the right hp the bike has

  • top speed ??

  • doesn't the can am 800 engines put out 71 hp?

  • them tires like to grow :P

  • @mrpiehole lolololo ye Ii saw that too

  • 45 hp with that exhaust ??? :|

  • That's pretty good considering tires and belt transmission.

  • there not expanding its just wanting to lift of the ground so it looks like it gets bigger

  • you can see the tires expand.

  • DUDE! your tire treads had to of been screwing with the dyno, my outty 800 is putting 62hp to the wheels, I had it delivered and un-crated at a dyno in return that I bought a "session" from them, an hour of toying with it and seasoning the motor and it when on the ramps. DUDE! demand a do-over

  • @Corey497 Dude?

  • damn the tires are balooning

  • You got to be Kidding Me?

  • Wow, pretty nice.

  • Yeah, crank and rear wheel horsepower are different. Manufacturers always give crank hp numbers.

But don't let 45 rear wheel horsepower fool ya. On a 4 stroke 4wd atv, that's movin cause the torque they produce. I wish people would compare torque numbers. That's where the power is. These big bore utility atv's produce way more torque than sporties.

My renegade pushes 140 crank horsepower and 90 rear wheel horsepower. It will haul butt!

  • @jarroldharrell 140 huh? Is that Canadian?

  • @Muffduster

It's American. I'm pushing over twice the stock horsepower. I stroked the motor.

  • It would take much much more than just stroking the motor to get twice the stock hp lol. I'm smelling bs.

  • It's not bs.

My can am motor is a 1026cc bore/stroker. 98mm bore/68mm stroke. Built by the man himself (Flynt) in Terry, MS. I'm pushing big cams, race intake, 50mm bored throttle body, race filter, full muzzy exhaust, and fuel is controlled by a power commander 3 that was tuned by John Cannon himself.

My renegade has dyno'd 140 crank horsepower and 90 rear wheel horsepower which is well more than double stock.

  • @jarroldharrell Wow. I'd love to see that thing on the dyno. Wicked.

  • @Muffduster what does that have to do with anything

  • 45 hp ? haha for 800cc LOL ! the Raptor 700 have 60 to 75 with tuning parts

  • u fuckin retarded bitch this is like a mud atv it's not a racing atv dumb ass get a life and know what ur talking about plz

  • yea i know. but i checked the renegade and it comes stock with 71 horsepower i don't kow where this guy got 45 from lol.

  • @WoodsCreekFarm

The 71 hp is at the crank. That's what the companies publish. They don't publish the hp that's at the wheels. This reading this guy has done is at the wheels and is what all the stock renegades run.

But don't let that low number fool ya. The torque numbers make up for the rest. That's why these things can beat any "stock" sporty.

  • oh ok i had seen it said 71 and was told that it was 71 at the wheels. but yeah these things are like a freaking bulldozer when it comes to torque.

  • Renegade is fast but you need GRISTLEBOYZ turbo kit.

  • the renegades have 72 horse at the crank, im surprised it loses so much getting to the wheel, cars dont lose that high of a percentage

  • this guy was wrong it only loses 1hp getting to the wheel, from the wheel this thing has 71hp.

  • @mnwrestler424 If he were to switch his tires to a high performance street radial his horsepower numbers on the dyno would be much better. :)

  • renegade is pulling about the same as 400ex but 400ex have more top speed !

  • also look that the renegade is a 4 wheel drive machine capable of going places the 400ex could never go. both are built for what they are mean to do. 400ex was created for speed, and it is very fast. the renegade is a utility quad dressed sport style so that you can go places other sport quads cant.

  • This is right !

  • 400ex's are beginner bikes their good reliable machines but not worth comparing to the renegade my outlander 500 keeps up to my buddys piped and jetted 400ex he'll get to his top speed faster then i will but i'll keep up

  • Suzuki Quadzilla LT500 -----> 51srwhp / 390lbs = 0.1308 hp per pound

    Yamaha Raptor 700R----------> 41srwhp / 396lbs = 0.1035 hp per pound

    Honda 400EX --------------> 29srwhp / 374lbs = 0.0775 hp per pound

    Can-am Renegade 800 4x4----> 45srwhp / 607lbs = 0.0741 hp per pound

    Suzuki Vinson 500 4x4 ----> 21srwhp / 604lbs = 0.0348 hp per pound

  • my lt250r 88 do 44 hp on dyno and reach 94 mph on the road, renegade 800 is powerfull for a 4x4 atv , but keep in mind that every racer can own a renegade !

  • and it dont help hes dynoing with holeshots on...

  • every dyno is different too.... he could put this same renegade on a dif dyno and it could say 60hp..

  • This doesn't make sense. The factory claims the 800 makes 71hp@ the crank which would equal 58 to the wheels. And your readings are saying 45.5hp. My best friend owns a renegade 800 and I have seen 125kph= 77mph on his stock.

  • do not talk about what you dont know !

  • king quads go 70 stock

  • 45.5? it says on the site it has 71...

  • what?

  • @colestevens You're dumb.

  • @Muffduster It does say it has 71...

  • @TheGigglingStoner Thats fine.

  • @colestevens 45.5 is bs, 62 is the 800, 71 is the 800r, 61 is the 2010 outlander 650, this must be the renegade 500

  • @Kingleonidas192

I can't believe that this thread has been here for 11 months and nobody has enlightened you on HP numbers. The factory HP figures are at the CRANK...these HP numbers are at the REAR WHEELS. Big difference. So, if this is a standard 800 the 44.5 to the rear wheels is it. Take 20-30% off crank numbers to get RWHP (on shaft driven units).

  • @id4x4nut

I have a 20% loss through my CVT on my polaris and I spent over $100 in clutch springs tuning it in. Something doesn't sound right with the Can-Am though, the CVT must be really out of tune if it's making only 45.5hp!

Properly tuned they should make around 56.8HP on the dyno which is really fast for an ATV, too bad this quad weighs so much though.

  • every renegade fan do not know what are the difference about crank horsepower and wheel horsepower !

my suzuki quadrunner 500 have 36 hp at crank and 19 hp to wheel !

  • i think there about $13,000 new there sick but they are a rich mans bike

  • Whats the price on those?

  • wel i bouth my atv in america so its in mph already and it goes to 89 mph

  • my renegade does 77 miles per hour stock and whit my pipe and rev limiter 89 miles per hour no problem and it goes there fast too

  • whats the max speed of a renegade 800?

  • LOL? Youre thinking that? Youre just askin, youll never buy that. You just ask it for nothing.

Dont ask its top speed, its not made for speed.

  • LOL? I asked the max speed. don't reply unless u got the fucking answer, stop wasting my time, and I never said I was going to buy. Jesus, wtf is ur problem?

  • Well, i have answer to your question. Theres video in youtube someone going @ 117kmh

  • thanks, but would u know what that would be in MPH? I live in America.

    and thanks again.

  • Mph.. let me think. 60 mph = 100 kmh, so its about 60-70 mph.

  • thanks again.

  • The Renagade is a force not to be brushed off and it's the best i have ever ridden..... anyone who has been around alot of ATV'S has found out its the ONE...for all around performance it is a BEAST!

  • @scubaparty sorry was trying to push thumbs up on your commit

  • what pipe

  • HMF

  • Its a CVT trany only 1 gear

  • how many speed is a 800 renegade like 3 spd auto or how many are there????

  • Automatic.

  • well is it all one gear or is it like is there like 2 or 3 gears..like all i'm askin..not to cause anything...i wanna buy one...top of the line 4wheeler right now and their relyable too

  • park

    reverse

    nutral

    high

    and low possibley

  • ya i know the set up..but is it all one gear thou

  • if u mean is it one gear once you puts it in high gear then yes, once you puts it in the gear theres no shifting. but if thats not what you mean then im not sure ;p

  • Well, you can hear them shift even tho there automatic. So if that helps any.

  • thanks....it sounds like 3 gears

  • no it has one gear like in high range its an autonatic centrifigal clutch so yeah

  • oh i see...lol...thanks for the help

i went and bought one today but i dont get it till tomorrow...so i cant wait lol

  • not at the rear wheels u dumb shit. that says it all.... you dont know shit about engines and horsepower ratings. by the time the power is transferred through the tranny, then the driveshaft, to the rear differential, to the wheels... it loses power.

  • yea at the rear wheels dumb shit. i had it on the dyno twice first time 70hp. second time 69hp..

  • And yet, it would more than likely loose in a 300 ft drag.

  • it would pri be close race either way since the Tcat has more power but the renegade is lighter.

  • Yea, notice I said 300ft drag, lol anymore and I'm sure that Tcat will walk it down.

  • Liar

  • anyone know how much horse a 85 trx250 gives?

  • at least 900-1000hp on that 85

  • Relly? are you sure? because most CARS don't have that under the hood.

  • Our economy is going to shit, a nigger is president. pretty shitty situations all around Just making some humor. prolly 28-40hp on your 250.

What do you have done to it?

  • lol the renegade 800 has 65 hp relax.

  • big deal! the new sportman 850 makes 70 hp. get a real quad

  • Polaris? LOL. You can't spell Polaris without POS. And there's no way its making 70. Plus, it being a POlariS means it only gets about 30% to the rear wheels.

  • Comment removed

  • Like I said. You're comparing a manual clutch 2 stroke to a belt-driven 4-stroke. It probably has over 75 horse at the flywheel. Not to mention your ATC250R doesn't have even close to 65 unless its a 330 powervalve CT motor or something. So, STUF. You = Epic FAIL.

  • im pushing 65 horse out of a atc250r i no u can get more out of that quad u got than that

  • criss de cave 2 -3 passe c en masse

  • Speak English or STFU!

  • that thing is a fuckin beast cause all i got is a honda recon and it is 20 at the crank goddamn that renegade is powerful

  • Haha he is wearing ears muffs.....

  • can you dyno a renegade 500 pls

  • orenkeith hit it on the nail

  • Thank you

  • They are about 62 at the crank, probably 45-48 at the wheels.

  • isnt the 800 renegade suposed to have alot more hp like 62 or sumtin...45s low for an 800 especially coming from brp they kick @ss

  • Its got around 75 at the crank.

  • my buddy just crashed his cbr 929.. hehe put that motor in a renegade

    that would be the shit

  • noone care's about your buddy's cbr 929 peice of fuckin shit.

  • lick balls

  • hehe

  • You guys must not know mutch about CVT's, cause anyone that races sleds will tell you that you never stop the clutches with the brake. you have to let them backshift until they disengage. I'm willin to bet every time you took off your belt was an inch down in your secondary. Not tryin to insult you just a little constructive critisim.

  • i race sledss, i got a 2006 ski-doo MXZ-X 800 blair morgan edition and umm well wen u race u kinda dnt have the time to let the clutch back shift, maybe if u have a sled from like 1990 but the new ones have an auto disengage at like 2800 rpm at least thats what mine has and if u dont use shitty 40 dollar belts u wont keep blowing them

  • Wow,... Do you eavin know what I'm talkin about???? ok, let me clear things up if you dragrace sleds you would know that you dont stop your track or in this case your rear wheels with the brake. The reason behind this is if you do use the brakes to stop them your secondary wont be able to backshift all the way and the next time you take off it will fall on its face. this will happen to any sled 90's or a brand new 08.

  • LOL. eatenbeaver posted his comment 35 minutes ago and then closed his account. LOL.

  • Does that thing have some aftermarket equipment on it, it sounds like it has a pipe atleast. I wonder what some other atv's run at the wheels.

  • My 2008 Kawasaki KFX450 did 47 at the rear wheels.

  • It is now up to 52.37 at the rear wheels.

  • damn dude, whats your kfx have in it? i have one too and i was just wondering

  • my renegade is 64 hp stock your shit is fucked

  • 64 at the crank......not at the rear wheels. They are around 37-39 at the rear wheels stock.

As I stated before, its not my wheeler.

  • Learn some shit.

  • It wasn't me who dyno'd it. Renegades dyno weird. They make peak HP down low and have the least tranny slip down low.

  • your not even letting it get completely wide open....man it wont fry hold it down for bout 30 seconds and i bet u will hit 60 horses...trust me

  • It won't hit 60, you know that, but your right off and on the throttle is worse on the motor than running all the way up.
