Hey GMD, do you know what kind of pots/wiring you have going on in that thing? I had a Lollar low-wind neck bucker, and a Lollar special T in my tele for ages and finally just went Esquire because the bucker was always so dark in contrast. Yours sounds nice and balanced, and the special T is supposed to be a darker pickup than the 52's so you'd think the special might even work better. At least, I thought! Thoughts of your own would be appreciated!

It is hard to match up a tele bridge and full sized humbucker in the neck and not sound like you are putting on a different hat when you switch pick-ups. Love the 52 though.

That is one sweet sounding guitar, but playing through tubies helps out tremendously. The smoothness of the humbucker is totally sweet, too bad Fender doesn't do a "hybrid" with the single coil and the humbucker, plus not a recessed cable input. Very nice. No another naming contest.

That's a great honest Tele tone GMD....teh sound at 8:00 is the type of tone that I strive to get all the time.

Love the faceless video format - It's like watching Gene Simmons circa 1978 but you refrain from telling people that you invented shoes or breathing or the sun.

The steel pedal sounding bends that you play around 3:10 sound awesome.

I epoxied my Luther Drive to my pedal board........it's staying.

She started doing demos on YouTube, but has branched out to make the Luther Drive, named after her husband, Luther Winthrope. A successful, mid-West, childrens author.
