Catch me on the wrong day and I wouldn't be able to do the last scene (with Jo and Gail) without bawling my head off. They'd have about 22 takes to get it right. lol
What would you rather watch GLEE or Facts Of Life? I know what my choice is!
Tv needs to go back to this type of sitcom, a sitcom where you learn important life lessons, and also a sitcom that is funny at the same time. I think it is a shame the kind of garbage that passes for entertainment these days, its just pathetic! Facts Of Life is a great show, the acting is superb, the scripts are amazing, and also its very funny too. You couldn't ask for a better show, its timeless!
While we are on the topic of shows that we would like to see more of on DVD, I would love it if the last two seasons of "Mad About You" were released! Helen Hunt forever!
Sony needs to get off their lazy butts and release the rest of this wonderful series,and Maude,227 neeeds to finish the rest of their seasons too!! u listening Sony??
Why oh Why can't they make shows like this again! I could watch 70-80-and really early 90's television all day everyday instead of the mindless B.S. they broadcast these days.
I remember how it felt when a good friend of mine told me she was dying. She had cancer. It was so HARD hearing that. She told me in a supermarket and I burst into tears. It was awful.
That is the worst thing about being terminally ill (from my perspective)....facing death is nowhere near as hard as telling loved ones, because their reaction says everything.
Hey mppy126, thanks as always for posting FOL, here in Argentina Nick at Nite stopped airing it :-( And my favourite part is Natalie saying: "Please don't insult me" XD And I think is very sweet to think Jo has a crush on her teacher, and that doesn't mean I'm saying that every girl or boy that had a close relationship with a teacher had a crush on him/her....
I know it's only a show, but Gail looked and seemed so healthy in this episode. What kind of disease could she have had? Especially to be taken at such a young age.
oh grow up with the jo was in love with gail. i had a close teacher like that when i was young. it's diff than now. teachers can't have friendships like that with kids anymore.
It's true. I was thinking the same thing when Jo called the teacher by her first name. No teacher could have that kind of friendship with a student these days. I also didn't think Jo was in love with Gail. She just felt close to her.
this is such a great show. much better than all the crap on TV now, like "gossip girl" and "the hills". and to think "seinfeld" and "friends", two crappy sitcoms all about sex, have full dvd sets while on TV constantly in reruns! this show dealt with real issues and was funny and touching at the same time. shows like "seinfeld" are so stupid!

tootie needs to learn to but out of peoples problems, if jo broke curfew thats jo's problem not tootie's

@candlelight482
I think that Tootie's heart was clearly in the right place. She was simply concerned about Jo because of how good a friend she was. No big deal.
