I honestly can't believe how strong the last two Dinosaur Jnr records are, especially when you consider that late 90's material was the weakest shit they ever released. not bad, just weak by their standards. 'Beyond' and 'Farm' are on the level of their classic late 80's/early 90's material imo, and in some ways better.

Just to clear something up - he's not high, he's been straight edge since his teens. In my eyes this just makes him more awesome... He has said that he's always been slow like that, that it's his general "way of being". Sidenote: Read "Our band could be your life", the chapter about Dino Jr is very interesting if you want some insight into what they were like back in the 80's (as a band as as individuals). This book has changed the way I look at them - that is, I love them even more than before.

Heroin, Oxycontin, Methadone,Oxycodone, Darvon etc. Also look at his pupils and color of his eyes. They are sort of Pale and washed looking. Thats another symptom of opiate use.
