and like most sports that have a sound name to it, it takes what the sport is and gives it a name.

so Hand hits a racquetball or a ace ball to a single wall so why not call it

HandHitsBallToOneWallBall. think thats makes alot of sense.

yeapp, big blue handball shouldnt be considered "American" handball cus the irish invented it in the 19th century. the irish immigrants brought it to the east coast when they all immigrated during the early 20th century. hence, big blue handball came way before that team handball shit and squash.

This is handball, It comes from Ireland and their they call it handball, or play fives, ethon fives. They've introduced it in America. It's also played for hundreds of years in Belgium(kaatsen - balle pelote -handbal), Netherlands, France(fronton), Italy. This name existed before the normal handball we see on television...

Sorry guys but handball is another sport than that. What you play is a very ancient sport from Basque Country (a small region between Spain and France) and called "pelote basque"...Very intense and spectacular indeed, but I dont know the english translation for this sport.
