I'm just noticing it now but is it me or did the in Kanto feel more contemporary, easy going and actually indulged in the nostalgic feeling compared to Johto where the music was more varied, traditional and in places, ominous.

oh nice stein, I like that percussion in the intro :) That flute and trumpet doubled sounds very relaxing. I like how this sounds more jazzy.
