  • This is great :D The lead has an awesome voice and he's hilarious xD

  • Moist's song just feels so out of place here, its like the songs in classical musicals that pause the movie/play altogether for something that really does not matter in the long run. That just does not fit in Dr. Horrible where every song is relevant in some way, whether it is plot points or development of the three main characters.

  • Wow it sounds like It's a brand new day is on speed and all the seriousness of it was sucked out by the dolls

  • I was about to clap, but then I remembered that I was at home watching this...

  • I will marry all of the Bad Horse cowboys... That's just how awesome they are.

  • It seems like everyone had a great time, the players, the audience .. and I feel glad I got to share their enthusiasm here on YouTube.

  • People should stop complaining; This is how the original play went, before the NPH internet movie, so you so called "Dr. Horrible purists" actually have no idea what you're talking about

  • @RickShred86 ... The NPH internet movie was the original. You are clueless. That being said, I agree that this is a good interpretation. Definitely different, but still good.

  • Loved Moist's song!

  • Someone should tell these guys that; if you're going to use the jokes and lines from the original, that gestures, pauses, tonality, ALL go into the delivery

You can't keep the line, AND change the delivery, the two things go together

  • I thought it was great you gave moist his song =D

  • The actor does a good job as Dr. Horrible, but needs work as Billy. In other words, he's not that good acting like the shy, hopeless romantic.

  • I was just thinking this would make an amazing play :)

  • hãha_sÜcht_mÂl_NÃch:_geldeasy_ÀÜf_gøÖglé

  • Though, you really should have kept brand new day a bit faster.

  • I'm kinda sad the almost kiss and awkwardness from that got cut, but overall this is really good

  • I love the Dolls! :D

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this performance! =D

Penny was great, albeit I can tell the low notes were uncomfortable. Captain Hammer did a great job adding his own character to the role. =) The energy level is good, the acting was good (but I can tell Dr. Horrible was forcing humor on the role). This is how Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog would be presented in stage form. This is probably the best stage performance of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog I've seen. :)

Moist and the cowboys are awesome. :D

  • "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" - Mark 8:36

  • The singing is alright, for Horrible, but I have to say Moist seemed like he needed to sing up the octave the entire time.

  • brand new day wasnt great first complaint I have about it though loved no one wants to be moist.

  • also, love your doctor horrible. the actor is doing an amazing job, great singing too!

  • the lines are right but everything else... ugh it's hard to watch when your such a fan of the actual show... it would work better if the music wasn't all super rushed..

  • I love that you guys implemented Moist's song from "Commentary! The Musical" That's great! :)

  • Hahaha I love that Moist has a song now! I love it!

  • I liked your adaption with the Brand New Day sequence, but you were overdoing it a bit with the spasticness

  • Haha! The addition of Moist's Lament works great! Nice work!

(I don't know if you called it "Moist's Lament.")

(If you didn't you totally should have.)

    c|:)

  • my only complaint is the performance of brand new day the rest is awsome

  • Aww, poor Moist ):

  • I think my favorite thing about this production is Dr. Horrible's comedic timing, though i also did like how all of the music was on a piano.

  • Your Moist is honestly better than the original. I would tolerate the actual, but yours I actually enjoy!

  • This is one fine example of fans crying "You changed it now it sucks."

  • Unfortunately yes. Some people seem to have found some positive things in it though. That's good.

  • @bsnarski oh please. really, really no reason to be so modest about it! obsessive fanboys/girls are a problem of every adaptation. but you guys did a great, creative job, and it´s plain to see that you put a lot of heart in it!

  • That moist song was hilarious

  • moist should have been dr horrible

  • This. Is. Awesome!

You guys made the transition to the stage really well even though there were some awkward parts like the doll thing. I love the fourth wall gags. I wish my school would do this but there aren't enough roles to include the whole class in the production. We couldn't even do You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

  • So far, Moist's extra number and the Bad Horse cowboys are the best parts of this show.

  • I wish I could comment accurately about this, but given the setting and seating it's hard to tell if this kind of acting was appropriate for the story.

I'd give the benefit of doubt and say it was probably really good = )

  • thank you :)

  • wow i love that moist part. :D

  • Loved the extra song, who wrote it? Really worked well with it being a live performance, good little side "plot" in a way :)

  • It's from the Dr. Horrible DVD extra, "Commentary the Musical"! Check it out.

  • Terrific performance.

  • Omigosh, he ruined the best song.

  • moist totally deserved that song! viva-la sidekick!

  • I have to say, I truly love your work here. It's very enjoyable. Thank you so much for sharing this fun :)

  • very well done. you should post some more of your own material. you seem to just be mimicking

  • "Not till Bryce isn't looking is it voiced!"

  • I think the Doc Horrible actor is quite good, loads of great acting in this section. The timing of the 'the hammer is my...' joke is great...though I admit Penny seems to have some trouble singing in that range.

  • The girl could lose a few pounds. Billy is awfully gay and captain hammer is a seriously bad actor. Boo!

  • wow the girl playing penny sucks balls

  • A drastic change from Original to Adaptation, but Moist's extreme singing is a really good one, whereas Dr. Horrible's is horrible, as everyone else has said.

  • horrible actors

  • @popito1111

Tim and Eric would do a better job, and thats not a compliment to the video.

  • tim and eric suck!

  • yeah that was the point of the comment.

  • i know but i just needed to say it out loud

  • And I needed to sit on you.

This is what I do This is what I do This is what I do I sit on you.

  • @popito1111 I agree

  • for a second he looked like mr.smith from the matrix

  • Though Captain Hammer looks like he could've used a couple push-up before the show, his delivery was great. :) I really like your show.

  • I like the stuff you guys added. Like moist's song.

  • Comment removed

  • is this a school thing? lucky people....it's pretty good...although i don't like the guy who plays Dr Horrible....especially compared to NPH!...but he really overacts!!!

  • I think what you see as "overacting" here or in the context of the original is the right energy level for a stage like this.

  • @bsnarski

I completely agree with you. I have acted on stages like this, and you have to change your energy. I think he is fantastic.

  • why the hell would you mark this as Act 2 Part 3 of the actual show when its clearly not...

  • Because this is the 3rd part of the 2nd act of our show.

  • Fun! Could they have gotten a bigger ham for Moist?

  • I liked moist despite the fact he couldn't sing. he reminded me of that guy from juno. it worked.

  • No NPH. :(

  • I love that they got Moist's solo in there. I hope people see this and want to buy the dvd. Support Dr. Horrible!!!

  • Penny is at her best when she hits the high note on "ground" and actually allows her soprano to come out. So sweet! I don't like the belting, not for this character, though Ms. Warly does have a strong voice. :-)

  • yes she does!

  • Was she belting because you weren't miked, or...? That would make sense.

  • I loved the way they ignored the flashbacks and Dr. Horrible the giant in Brand New Day.

I also didn't think I would like the insert of Moist's deleted "Commentary" scene but it was great and funny.

  • I love the dolls! Hahaha...

  • The idea of the dolls was to represent the Giant scene in "Brand New Day". Brad did that bit with the dolls differently during each performance, but in some of them he would act out the giant scene a little bit.

  • I am loving the insert of Moist's song! The guy who plays Captain Hammer is really getting to me though... then again who can live up to Nathan Fillion?

  • I know Nathan Fillion

  • you're kidding me! He's one of my favorite actors of all time!

  • nope he used to live in Edmonton AB Canada was and still is good friends with my dad and me

  • you a pretty bad writer.

  • @ManVanMation like you could have done better

  • moist you are awesome!!!!!!
