@Cassarandara No, I have to agree with Regina. From what we've seen so far, Regina seems like a good parent to Henry, if a bit overprotective, but then, what parent isn't? She's done a good job raising him, even if he's too much of an ungrateful brat to see that. Emma's lifestyle and emotional health make it highly unlikely that she would have provided as good or stable a home as Regina was able to. That's why she put him up for adoption in the first place.
@OfShadowandSubstance She's evil. That's why Henry doesn't like her. She's the Evil Queen. You seem to be thinking about this in terms of normal adoption/working mom terms. You really can't apply the same rules in a fantasy show about fairy tale characters.
@torgerrose1 I agree. EVEN IF it wasn't dubbed a Fairy Tale show. kids a lot of the time get adopted by someone who wasn't really their best chance in life. Sometimes, they worse. Hence Stepmothers being a constant theme in Fairy Tales..and the real world.
@OfShadowandSubstance We've also seen Regina make Dr. Hopper give Emma Henry's file and lie so she could frame Emma for theft. The personal information in those files could be used by someone who didn't love Henry to hurt him. Then we saw her arrange a conversation with Emma in a place she knew Henry would overhear it and then prompt Emma to talk about Henry's "troubles". Oh, and Henry was named after her father whose heart she ripped out to enact a curse. What is your definition of "good"?
@OfShadowandSubstance I haven't seen her be a good parent. I've seen her say that she's a good parent, I've seen her say that of course she loves Henry, and I've seen her leave her 10 year old son at home alone for long periods of time, and I've seen her be possessive rather than loving, and that's what Emma sees. A possessive, manipulative Mayor, as opposed to a loving, caring mother. And a loving, caring mother is what she envisaged for her son all those years ago. It's all she cares about.
I think it's interesting that in the the other promo Emma tells Ella that people will always try to tell you who you are and you have to punch back, and then in this promo the EQ tries to tell Emma who she is. I'm so glad that Emma grew stronger in the last decade.
"Enjoy your cocoa."
Never has those words grouped in a sentence intimidated me so much.

Lana Parrilla is deliciously evil!

All that the EQ is succeeding in doing, is convincing Emma that Henry is NOT better off in her cold, manipulative care.

Another reference to "Lost", Emma's longest stay anywhere was in Tallahassee, Florida: which is where Sawyer is from in "Lost".
