Its about JESUS CHRIST our savors birth, not presents, family, fellowship, singing songs, or trees with lights; it about God sending his son in the flesh to earth so that he could die for our sins so we can have eternal life with him in heaven.

Celebrating Jesus' birth is the main point yes, but it's also a time God wants you to spend with your family, be in a giving happy mood, and rejoice. The presents, family, and Jesus are all the heart of Christmas. You can't just focus on one even though 1 may be more important then the other =)

I lost my son one year ago this month on the 20th and we do miss the true meaning of Christmas .We need to open our eyes and realize we have to cherish what we have and live while we can and let the ones we love know it.You see my son was 19 when he had a serious car wreck and on Oct 16th of 2010 and he laid in NTICU for 66 days and then on the 17th of December he had surgery .Well his surgery didnt go well and he was brain dead.On the 20th I had to pull the plug.So cherish every moment
