  • love the way he says '' see!'' 0:13

  • This Movie is DEEP.

It's more than just Comic book shit. Shame, not all SuperHero Movies can be like this.

  • @Qnz1kim Comic book shit? In the comics the joker was better in so many ways! He ripped off batman's legs and beat him with the bloody ends! He. Is. Amazing.

  • @Ginnyohara The comic books weren't shit, but I still think this movie's joker is fantastic. No more of this "he's such a whimp in the movie" in this scene he's locked in a cell with BATMAN. Of course he seems a little weak. In other scenes he shoots automatics, fires RPG rounds, stabs people, and in my personal favorite he sends dogs at batman while beating the shit out of him with two rusty pipes.

  • Gosh, the Joker is so evil!

  • Did Batman say "You're garbage, you kills for money"????????

  • @Pingbo97 "you garbage WHO kills for money"

  • hey.. ned flanders from the simpsons at 0:18

  • I love how in the conversation between Batman and Joker the over-the-shoulder camera angles keep switching sides.

  • As much as the joker may seem and sound as a lunatic, you got to admit, if you think about it what he says about people and them being genuinely bad and just hiding it in has quite a bit of truth to it. Well the people gotham kinda proofed him wrong, but i wouldn't really take my chances in his social experiment if he were to do in the real world..

  • @kaister901 Reality is the purest form of insanity. One man must always lie to himself in order to survive because the truth hurts too much. With this being said, I consider the Joker as being a Genius who looses it, not a psychotic sociopat who likes killing people. People don't seem to notice but, the Joker is just like "Kessler" in the game Infamous, he's there to make Batman better at it. If you don't know infamous, you should check it out, its really cool :)

  • @ravenhousegaming You know, I have never really heard a satisfying definition of insanity. I am currently observing myself in the act of living in an effort to discern whether I'm half insane (if that makes any sense) but really, it makes no difference to me. Do i REALLY need to know if I'm insane? "Insanity is doing things over and over again and expecting different results." That's a symptom. Not the definition.

  • @ravenhousegaming (p2) I think insanity is simply looking at things in a different way than most people. Everyone lies to themselves to avoid the terrible truths of our world, as you said. In fact, looking at the glass as anything other than simply incomplete is a sort of lie. It's a choice to ignore either the positive side or the negative side. But to know anything completely, you must see all sides. The Joker was never wrong...except in underestimating Batman.

  • @ravenhousegaming (p3) I actually admire the Joker. The Joker is not afraid to confront and toy with the dark side of humanity, what he knows is inevitable if all of our self-imposed conditions are stripped away. He is weary of us lying to ourselves, being upstanding in open yet entertaining our forbidden selves in secret. But I understand one thing, something he couldn't accept: We cannot deny our darker sides, yet we can always strive to better ourselves DESPITE that. :)

  • @Vampireskiss33 Truth be told, insanity is harder to define. Our brains are the masters of our reality and how ones brain decide to observe and understand reality is innevitably how the individual will perceive everything around him and all those who will cross his path. Is it wrong to kill, are people around you sane or not, the way we crafted society is not necesarily the way we all have to operate. I don't belive in god for example, but more than 80% of the earth population belives...

  • @Vampireskiss33 (p2) Does that make me insane because I'm not like them? I belive a sociopat who murdured people should be executed, so I'm pro death, and I have valid arguments, most people don't agree, does that make me insane? metaphorically speaking, the joker represents the missing link in our society, that "crazy" man who creates chaos, and he does it because our order that we established is an ilusion.

  • @ravenhousegaming I believe the same thing, case in point Jared Loughner (Tuscon shooter) still not sentenced to death and probably won't be because of "mental illness". Mental illness is not an excuse to do bad things and get out of them. This is going to sound cruel but if a mentally ill person murders it's just another reason to knock 'em off. When an individual stops benefitting society and instead hurts it is when the plug should be pulled on their life. However, *read next comment*

  • @ravenhousegaming ...if an individual kills in the name of justice, for example, murdering Jared Loughner, they should go without punishment because they are doing a good thing for society by ridding it of the bad things. But no the US system doesn't allow vigilante justice, we have "the court system".

Didn't mean to get off on a rant or act like a bigot, it's just my honest belief about justice.

  • How does Batman keep a straight face?

  • Comment removed

  • 2:06 The Joker MOCKS Batman's voice!!! I Hadn't Noticed! Gotta give him props, not anyone mocks The Batman and walks away without at least a concussion XD

  • interesting violation of the 180 rule

  • Really, it's all about the little things.

  • "to them you're just a freak like me"

Look at batty's face, he knows it to be true.

  • Pretty much everything that the Joker says in this scene is the truth. You know, about society and all that. Props to the writers for this scene.

  • @yummyelves777 Except the locations of Rachel and Dent.

  • @NTom92 what? the locations are right

  • @19Wylds95backup but he switched them

  • @NTom92 no batman chose to save dent

  • @19Wylds95backup no he didn't

  • 165 likes, 0 dislikes... This man is a GOD ! Seriously, I was sooo impressed when I saw this movie ! I saw it like 2 or 3 times. Heath was THE BEST JOKER EVER ! I'm so sad he died, he was a fucking good actor...

  • its funny when batman slam jokers head on the table

  • I don't know if anyone else saw this , but there were second door on the other side

  • @DaMiaN18882 - Why so serious?

  • put this on transcribe audio and watch

  • @MrSidman20

He doesn't say "thats just a riddle." Its, "avenue x, at Cicero"

  • I am not big Batman fan, but since this film, I am Joker fan......

  • @Gordinak2 russian/east european type, yes? how predictable, how boring...

  • @natmanprime wtf are you talking about?

  • whats the name of the song at 1:05?

  • "Lets see,Hes on 256th street, and shes on avenue x. Thats just a riddle."

This is why the Joker is and will be one of the craziest, funniest motherfucker there is

  • what can i say!!!!!!

    uncreditable.. acting

  • @MahdyDesigns Do you mean incredible? Uncreditable just means their names won't scroll up the screen at the end of the movie...

  • @Milky111wtf

    my mistake! :)

sorry for that, and thanks for your care to correct my mistake,

    i meant incredible ;) :) ^_^

  • @MahdyDesigns No problem!

  • @Milky111wtf That's uncredited. Uncreditable isn't a word.

  • @Pennice Ssshh. :P

  • there's a mistake from 2:05-2:09; the joker's hands are switched.

  • "Ripping off mob dealers" XD

    You classy mothafuckkaah!

  • He really nos how to wind up batman :) amazing acting anyway :)

  • Dent: 200-Fifty-Fifty-2nd Street = 50/50 Coin Flip

    Rachel: Avenue X = Batman's Ex

    Subtle touches.

  • @NaveNinja mmmm naaaa

  • @NaveNinja you would be right except the joker reversed the order. Dent was at Avenue X and she was at fifty fifty second street. plus its not 50/50 its 50/52

  • @cicatriz3 Oh, christ, sigh. Do I honestly need to explain this? It's not hard.

Joker was trolling Batman for fun. He switched them so that Batman thought he'd be getting Rachel, but actually got to Dent. He knew Batman would go for Rachel.

On the 50/50: They (notably Joker) pronounce 200 50/52 Street AS two-hundred FIFTY-FIFTY-second street. The fifty-fifty is IN there, it's just not what it ends as. The coin flip symbolism is intentional. 50/52 is read as fifty-fifty-two. Easy.

  • @NaveNinja uh duh he was trolling him. I think you are reading too much into it. You have no idea if it's intentional you didn't write the movie so you have no say...sowwie.

  • @cicatriz3 Sigh. Ineptitude these days...

I'm not reading too much into it, and I'm not even the one who discovered it. I just relayed it here because not everyone knows about it. It's on IMDB as actual trivia for the film. It was intentional.

To think otherwise is simply incorrect and foolish.

Just stop trying to make an argument over nothing. It's not reading too far into it, it's catching a hint they purposefully wrote into the script.

There is no argument. It's there.

  • This is simply the best actor actuaton I've ever seen on my life

  • "Did Harvey knows about you and his little bunny?"

    O.o

    Joker is a genious...

  • This scene make u like the joker and just makes batman look like an a hole. Lol. Idk I just love his laugh

  • God, those violins or whatever is in that background at 2:45 just makes the tension grow!

  • Yikes, no wonder Heath Ledger had to take painkillers, etc. Look how Batman, who is obviously on steroids and on a roid rage attack, is pummeling the poor Joker.

  • @DeuteriumDrones haha it's not real pummeling :P

  • And then Batman never started with the head again.

  • Best film ever........

way better than twilight and harry potter

  • WHERE ARE THEY

  • i love his laugh

  • never start with the head the victum gets all uuuu fuzzy

  • you can sooo see that when batman hit his head on the desk, he enjoyed it. he smiled a little right after!

  • (joker laugh) I...I don't want to kill you

  • I wonder did joker did that on purpose when he told batman where rachelle and harvey were(the addresses). Batman said before he left he was going to get rachelle but when he got there he was was at the warehouse where Harvey was held captive.

  • @MissAnimeFreak513

I think that was the jokers plan he knew that batman would go after rachel regardless, so in order to create two face he lied so harvey would be saved... Or he was making a refence when batman smashed his head into the table and he said never start with the head lol

  • @kacktustoo Oh ok

  • @MissAnimeFreak513

Just an idea though lol, it's all speculation xD

maybe the joker was an idiot xD

  • He's just the sickest bad guy in a movie ever...

  • @Erikhaos SO beast haha

  • The Joker feels no pain! Plus the way he said "You...COMPLETE ME" at 0:58 is just the best line I've EVER heard in a movie!!

  • At 2:38 that was like something from robocop

  • 2:38 sor head much? lol

  • 0:34 is great

  • I just know that when the Joker dies and goes to hell, the Devil will retire.

  • Does Harvey know about you and his little bully? xD CRACKS ME UP!

  • @ThePakimola i thought he said "little bunny" lol

  • the more mad batman get,the more joker laugh,it dosent work, poor batman, batman was so mad,he didnt know what to do lmao!!!

  • Best Acting scene of all time !

This is insanity, the devil is nothing against The Joker, awesome !!

  • I remember back in 2007 when it was announced Heath was gonna play the Joker, there was like total uproar between Batman fan boys.

Saying this "gay cowboy" shouldn't play Joker or that this Australian pretty boy would ruin it. Now look, iconic acting and Oscar winning performance. Even better performance than Jack Nicholson.

  • @DuranFan001 Somewhere up there, Ledger's laughing-truly the best punchline of all.

  • @DuranFan001 Yeah! And the same thing they say about Hardy. "He's too short", "He's apretty boy", "He's not buff enough to play Bane" etc.

But people just seem to keep forgeting one thing... CHRISTOPHER NOLAN!

    In Nolan we trust!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE 2:50<3

  • you have nothing to threating me!

    best line!

  • 2:50 THIS IS AN ACTOR!!!

  • batman:wojhwwphdp

  • Masochist.

  • The Joker IS the best! Batman is shit.

  • The only way to treat a villain.

  • fuck batman...

    THE JOKER RULES...!!!

  • 480p isn´t fucking *HQ*

  • OW head first into the glass 2:38

  • the joker is soooo smart

  • On 2:51, Heath Ledger forces the laugh out but does it so brilliantly! Such an extraordinary but legendary performance!

  • "Does Harvey know about you and his little bunny?" Spine-chilling moment!

  • 0:01 OWNED!

Crappiest part of this is 3:19.

  • Nice Quality!

  • you have all these rules lol

  • OMG! he's the bst actor eveer!

  • Tom Hardy for Riddler

  • it is reported that Christain Bale was actually hitting Heath Ledger here because Heath asked him to do so so he could get the real feeling of it.

  • @King2123 all the more reason why heath's an incredible actor

  • @King2123 Yep, quoted on the fact that "I got roughed up a bit".

  • lol, batman is getting troll'd

  • When the guy who runs to try to stop batman, from hurting the joker he reminds me of lights dad in deathnote.

  • what stuff did they use to make his teeth yellow?

  • @Zim804 uhm..... what stuff? LOL

  • At 02:12 the Joker has his hand over Batman´s arm and next frame is below batman`s arm, what was the editor doing? eating pizza watching the scene instead of editting?!?! Anyway the movie was freaking awesome!!!

  • It's like he's numb to feeling or pain!!

  • If you pause when Batman pins the Joker against the wall, look to the right and you can see the cameraman in the window!

  • "Never start with the head, the victim gets all fuzzy, you can't feel the next *BOOM*....see?"

  • Lmfao, why do you want to kill me?..HAHAHAHA HAHA HA HA I don't wana kill you, what would I do without you?

  • batman need to tone down his voice

  • @GFAWJ naa, this is how he is in the comics, read batman and son

  • Batman is so ghetto at 1:00, "you killzz for money" LOL!

  • Loved heath....couldnt stand bale though his voice is so ridiculous, keaton was way better, but Heath was still awesome...

  • ya. he soooo likes pain in this movie. RIP Heath and Love ya!! <3

  • The laugh at 2:52 is EPIC!

  • @bassplaya1549 it gives me chills

  • @bassplaya1549 And at :45

  • And it's great for webforums! @bassplaya1549
