  • Bastille Day in NY looks like fun

  • It is great! Come to NY next year.

    Cheers,

    Phil.

  • The most beautiful car in the world!! c'est magnifique!!!!

  • Indeed!

    Merci!!!

  • Oh yes! Cool car!

  • I thought these cars didn,t meet U.S EPA and safety standards Citroën and Peugeot tried to sell their vehicles in the USA but never catched on.

  • have you seen the film Back to the futurepart2?? there´s a citroen ds like a yellow taxi

  • European cars this beatiful!!!

  • The Citroen vintage cars, the more time passes and more are beautiful!

  • Where's the XM's, Xantia's, Xsara's???????

  • Unfortunately, we don't have these in the US!

  • why? they are great cars very very advanced.I am from Argentina there are very few XM's around here but a lot of the newer Xsara's Picasso's, C3's etc.

  • Well, I agree with you, they are great cars and you are very lucky to be able to buy them in Argentina. I wish we could find them here, but Citroen stopped exporting cars to the US in 1971. All the cars imported after that were privately imported and it is difficult to import a car that is younger than 25 years old.

  • biva citroen

  • wenn ich mal alt bin ,werde ich ein ds restaurieren. diese fahrzeuge sind das ergebnis von experimenten und mut.one day, when i am an old man. i will drive ads. algun dia un citroen ds va a ser un coche mio,es guapo

  • I hope you will get one some day. Good luck.

    Cheers,

    Phil.

  • Question remains: what do the american people think of te 2cv. Looks a bit strange in the streets of NYC

  • I think they love it! For them it is a toy and it represents France. In the US, a 2CV is more expensive than a SM!

    Cheers,

    Phil.

  • Is Citroen represented with a dealer network in the USA? Or are those cars imported particular? And a 2CV more expensive than a SM? You must be kidding!

  • Citroen left the US in the early 70's. They started to import the DS officially in '57. Some people imports DS's and 2CV's and, nope, I am not kidding, the 2CV is more expensive than a SM.

    Phil.

  • All the americans have to learn of this cars

  • nice video! I'm a dutch '55 2cv owner and I'd love to take it to NYC some day...

  • Hi,

Thank you. That would be great to see you in New York. There is a Citroen show at Saratoga Spring, NY, mid-june. This would be a nice oportunity to bring your 2CV.

    Take care,

    Phil.
