I must make it clear that I still feel people can take jibes at each other, and be overidingly humorous whilst still being the most genial version of themselves.
It may seem a bit hopeful, but I long for the day when everone gets it all right; humanity, morality, sustainable happiness. If and when this day arrives, the need for derision and mockery will cease to exist.
I am rambling though, and must ask you what you meant by the first sentence of your latest reply.
I feel like I'm conersing with a version of myself. I'm always obsessing over how people find moral "niches", as such to win people ver and convince others that they are someone worth knowing.
I definetley understand where you are coming from, but I honestly do believe being yourself can lead to the top. There is the easy mistake that any make, and that mistake is feigning niceness.
My idea of becoming a well rounded, moral human being, is to convince yourself that such a decision is right
Your idea on conventional/unconventional wisdom is one I adhere to. I believe however, and I include myself in his bracket, that there exists a selection of people who tend to always try to follow what feels morally correct in the long run. Some people will never attempt to base their life on a philosophy, as such a commitment often leads to a dead end.
Craig says he wants to be "one of me (himself)", and this I feel is how nice people make it to the top. :)
Yikes, I'd love to agree wih you as I sense that we may share a similar outlook, but I don't believe wisdom i actually the most vital aspect to a man.
I think Craig could have had his life experiences yet handled this woman derogatorily if his outlook on life was less loving. My take is that his approach to life has mean he has grown from his life experiences morethn say, the woman who apprehended him for so long in this video.
This quality I mention, is why Craig enjoyed R Brand so much.
You can't just teach a Craig in University can you?
He was dropped in an abismally bleak town in Scotland, a town called Glasgow. Glasgow is a large city, one best described as a place of refined squalor. He had to be tough, comical, intelligent and perseverant to both survive and to pave his way out of there, and to eventually find America.
Craig's self-sought humanity, his thesis's on such things as 'Baseball America', his rounded sense of philosophy, and his intellect are...
ah.....craig is fo freakin awesome....he's honest!!!......yes!!!!!......'what a-list??"....."i not trying to do a late night talk show, it just turned out that way"

...Are not likely to be matched by someone striving for such equivalents at any University.
But truthfully, I agree with you wholheartedly. He is a landmark man.
