  • I have done this. Does this make it too cold for the leopard gecko? I have two baby leopard geckos and mine tend to sleep while in the ventilated box. I also heard that the babies can lose their toes if I don't help them. Any advice?

  • @tiffazmy Keep the deli in the enclosure and it will stay warm enough. My advice is as it is in the video. Does the gecko still have shed?

  • At :12? This is a leopard gecko. Morph is SHTCT.

  • Can anyone tell me what leo that was on 0:12? It looks really nice

  • So they can shed overnight?? Because I have never seen mine pale and I had him for 1 and a half months now.

  • perhaps it is and you are not seeing it. they do shed and eat the shed. It is unusual for us to see any of our geckos shedding.

  • ive had my leopard gecko for three months and hasnt shed yet its a blizzard and its hard to tell if hes ready is that normal

  • Well, they usually start shedding a day or two after hatching but this is a shed that they don't need any help with.

  • when do lepard geckos begin to shed

  • Did you try this method of helping the gecko shed?

  • One of my leopard geckos has some trouble shedding. She doesn't eat her shed skin, and the skin doesn't come off in one piece. The shed skin is dry, and in chunks.

My gecko eats normally, and has a moist hide and everything - but I don't know what to do about the dry shed skin. Please help!

  • 2:26 freaky

  • my pictus gecko has some shedding issues around her eyes and nose and some on her toes too... if i put her in a dish, she just stays soooo still and wont move around at all, she is still a baby though... should i try removing it myself like you said in this video??

  • @dl657008 removing the shed should the the very last resort. The gecko doesn't need to move around for the deli cup method to work. With time (a few hours), the shed should come off.

  • absolutely. I have some this you that once in a while will have a shed problem and this is the best way to battle this.

  • im getting a leopard gecko within a few days, he has problems shedding and he isnt even a month old can i do this with him?

  • i dont kno what can i get

  • @geckokid21 we will be bringing SHTCTs to the show tomorrow. If you are interested in enigmas, we could bring one or two as well.

  • bring your best leo at the expo i have $75 this me ryann rember geckokid21

  • @geckokid21 To the show tomorrow? You got it. What are you looking for specifically? (remind me at the show!)

  • does this work for toe too?

  • @HOLLISKID23 not sure I understand :)

  • @SupremeGecko sorry for stuck shed in leopard gecko toes

  • @HOLLISKID23 ah, understand now. Absolutely. If I have a gecko with any stuck shed, right away it goes for the "deli cup" treatment.

  • @SupremeGecko thank you

  • @HOLLISKID23 no problem. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • thanks ill be sure to remember this!
