I had a pair of those when they came out, they were probably the most dangerous things I have ever used. I must have sprained my ankles a good 30 or 40 times before I said fuck it and put them in the back of the storage shed.
I miss when they made toys that could possibly result in broken bones, those were the true educational toys.

when I was a kid, my grampa and I built a pair of 'moon boots' out of an old burnt mattess and some planks of scrap pine.
Honest to god the things we made were safer.
