You use shotguns to hunt birds. When you shoot the pellets lose velocity very quickly so they become non lethal after just a couple hundred yards. They don't arch and do much damage on the way down.

looks like a lot of fun, great dogs. kinda odd to find both quail and pheasant in the same field, cuz pheasants are very aggresive birds and would kill or drive out all species of birds in their territory

i just went pheasant hunting today for the first time and it was awesome!!! Sooo fun it was a blast hit 2 with no misses and my dad hit 2 and i went with my pastor and he got one
