  • She doesn't play any cadence.....boring

  • Tine, du er et bra forbilde og en sabla god trompetist! Du er alle små trompet-/kornett-jenters store forbilde! I hvert fall mitt!

  • but then i think she should tongue the notes clearer in 1:27.(no offence)just wanted to make it perfect

  • @MrTyrtyryry grace notes

  • she so beautifull so is her music!!i luv it

  • Haydn You Was A genius.

  • Two and a half mil hits!Nifty! Maybe some people are wakeing up.You look very nice and play beautyfuly or the trumpet just sings for You.Just for fun-The Gummy Bear Song-over twohundredmillion hits.Funny but what does this say?Romantic-Diana Krall music video(bamboo)"Quiet Nights".Very nice lyrics & really nice scenery.Just for fun "Don't Be Stupid" Shania Twain.(good ending) Love & Prayer Dan

  • good tempo, good expression, yes!

  • @litia725 I haven't played in so long, I forgot where my trumpet was, otherwise I'd test it out. I'd imagine that there was a point in it, maybe it's more comfortable on the wrists?

But she has a very nice tone too :)

  • I noticed she was holding her trumpet at a slight angle. Is there a certain reason for doing so, or is it just her way of doing it?

  • @RoxuhBoxuh Where I was taught trumpet we were told to tilt our trumpets a bit so like that for better tone. Maybe that is why, or maybe she just holds it that way because it's probably her special way of doing so?

  • @litia725 probabely not better for the sound but for your fingers....

  • That's a really strange looking kitchen...

  • This is soo much harder for Bb trumpet..

  • @electrogeek1996 dont hate

  • @Lightningbolt20 im not.. this is what its written for. so how could i hate. i dont have an Eb so i tried the Bb transposition and it takes a fair amount of indurance. which i dont have yet

  • I wonder why she's holding her trumpet at an angle.

  • @zizoumonk10 it's just how she plays. when a musician sounds like this, posture is not strict haha

  • i would also like to say, there is no ONE tone that all trumpeters are trying to have. each persons is different. even in classical music term. that is the beauty when one trumpet player finds their sound. she sounds very comfortable when she is playing. i enjoy that. so to me that is a beautiful tone.

  • i think that is an eflat trumpet. which means, it doenst sound the same as what we would normally think of as a trumpet(trumpet in Bb).

one thing interesting is that htey never show her lips and the mouthpiece on the trumpet. maybe the producers thought it was unattractive.

  • @grahmdionable at 3:36 you can see them!

  • not often heard a trumpet sound that i really liked ^-^

  • Great. Now i have to look for "hockey01111" comment. -_-

  • bella e brava, ma quando mai succede? sei libera? ti sposo :-) Mau

  • fap fap fap

  • Beautiful sound!! How can you move your fingers so FAST!?

  • @EquestrianBallet

watch some asians playing piano.. those guys are FAST

  • @DavidoffeTV you were looking at her eyes... I was looking at her................. fingers.

  • 240p, my arch-nemesis.

  • she has beautiful eyes

  • amaai..

  • @iepzie123 - according to the CD-inlay it's Terje Tønnesen, for Albinioni and Neruda it's Atle Sponberg

  • @nicku1 Thanx

  • Excelente trompetista.

  • who is the director of the nowegian chamber orchestra, or who was it for this performance? thx

  • man she can really blow for a long time....

  • I love you !

  • Lots of outstanding brass musicians from Norway; Oystein Baadsvik and now Tine Thing Helseth!

  • @Bamchucknorris I agree! And... she REALLY knows how to play! She is simply...an OUTSTANDING performer. Bravo!

  • I'm proud to say, I'm norwegian !

  • @MuseDay19 I agree with you and with all my Norwegian friends! She is -not only a CHAMPION and a MAESTRO-, but she is also ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL... I do love the way she plays.... sincerely!

  • Haydiana

  • classsic rulates

  • you, you reading this, yeah you, you don't fool me, you just came here because the chick on the thumbnail's hot

  • @debunker1905 Nah.

  • I don't care what anyone says, when the trumpet players are playing their parts, their sound is what is in control of the whole orchestra (unless they are playing a quiet non solo part). Its the best instrument ever made, perfect combination of beautiful sound and power.

  • Sounds pretty damn good for 240p!

  • Oh Haydn - this music still cuts edge!

  • Probably one of the most beautiful tones I've ever heard on a trumpet... Absolutely beautiful.

  • woooo norwegians i am norwegian but i am a american citizen born and breed here.Norwegians is awesome!

  • This is how a trumpet player should sound. Clear and centered, but not even the tiniest trace of harshness.

  • I am doing this solo for Solo and Ensemble competition in February, it is very hard. I used to think Irons Song of the Pines was difficult, but not anymore. This is far more difficult! I wish i had her tone quality! And i wish she would have played the Cadenza at the end, my instructor wants me to, I looked at him like he is crazy. And i wish i looked as good as her while playing!

  • 240p we meet again...

  • WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE HOT ONES!!??

    MELISSA AND TINE !!!!

  • Great performance and a fun movement to listen to. That is what is so great about Haydn. He had a sense of "fun." Whether it be the slight change in rhythm of his minuet movements in his symphonies to give them a folk dance quality or his fun to listen to melodies, such as this. Mozart's greatness cannot be underestimated but to me, Haydn is the embodiment of the classical era.

  • It is NOT allowed to look into her eyes - You will become a stone!

  • what's her name?

  • @MrsKeks01 It's in the title AND the description. Try reading.

  • great.....

  • 240p we meet again...

  • :O Eso...Sacando La Cara Por El Genero...Asi Es!!!

    Cuanto Talento!!!

  • The sound she got on the low notes during the octaves jumps astounded me. Beautiful.

  • @LEAFNINJA33 thumbs up...as if I know what are you talking about....

  • I think the camera team did a good job too. I enjoyed this performance also thanks to their contribution.

  • selv spiller jeg ( treblås!) Når jeg hører Tine spiller denne klassikeren av HAYDN,,griner jeg. Det er så utrolig vakkert! Jentungen, med trumpeten!! FASINERENDE!

  • très jolie !

  • Молодец!!!!!

  • @chocdeekhapSingha Seen Alison Balsom?

  • @hockey01111 Why wouldn't it?

  • @hockey01111 Because she's got more skills then you bro. umad?

  • @hockey01111 A nice girl is playing a nice piece of music on a nice instrument. Most of the people just love nice things. Shame you don't.

  • Holy fuck... She's so amazing!!!

  • It's a miracle, so clear and easy playing trumpet.

  • simply amazing - great performance;-)

  • I have listened to some five other performers but Tine and the Orchestra are by far the best: It seems it's just a piece of cake for her.

  • and then she makes one 1 mistake and everyone stands up and throws their stands at her

  • she doesn't have that "mouthpiece ring" around her lips, trumpeters usually have - she takes care of herself like a lady

  • @StateOfTheArts no, that just means she's not pressing too hard on the mouthpiece. good eye though.

  • and... she's sexaaaaay

  • @StateOfTheArts This "mouthpiece ring" you speak of is usually because most trumpeters don't know how to not press the mouthpiece right against their lips. I really admire how little pressure on her lips with which she is still able to play.

  • competition

    /watch?v=CDvFmNpFwkw&feature=related

  • soooooo effortless

  • HOW can she have SUCH an amazing tone??? I can never play like that

  • fucking amazing tone. trumpeters, this is what you want your tone to be like.

  • One of the best, if not THE BEST!

  • Well played!

  • I know what piece I am now going to play at this years Fine Arts Festival. I'v been playing trumpet for three years now and believe that if I start now, in a few months, when the Fine Arts Festival is, I can and will be able to pull this off. Joseph Haydn did a wounderful job with this piece, which was ment to show off his new keyed trumpet he had recently created, and he definetly did.

  • @jacobtech7 Dude, this piece is part of the associates degree syllabus for trumpet. Not to offend, but I strongly doubt you'll be able to play this piece after only a few months of practice if you've only been playing for three years. This is a VERY difficult piece to play properly. Also, for the record, Haydn did not invent the keyed trumpet. There is debate as to who did, and it was more to demonstrate the chromatic capability of said trumpet. Not hating your comment, just giving some advice.

  • everytime i watch this it gets stuck in my head for days :)

  • Who on EARTH can dislike haydn's 3rd movement!?!?! I am appaulled. Those people don't have a clue..

  • привет из ярославля!!!

  • @pjdeluca360 Jean Claude Borelli Dolannes Melodie ..that was it! ;-)

  • INCREDIBLE

  • Incredible! Good Thing Tine!!

  • Featherlight, silvery sound of trumpet, wonderful, lovely performance!

  • Wow!!.. compliments!!.. I love trumpet!!... really awesome and good music!!.. best wishes for a world success as you deserve dear! ;D xox really glad to meet You here in UTB!!

  • Beautifully done. She plays this technically challenging piece with great tone, precision, and clarity.

  • very very good!!! Compliments!!!

  • wow. amazing.

  • she is my idol, lol. I wish there was a "love" option :) so great.

  • ...Whoever insists that the performance of this girl is less than PERFECT is probably a pathetic "I-know-better" attention seeker...

  • That was amazing! Does anybody know what horn she is playing?

  • @St0bie Shes playing a cornet. Which is smaller than an average trumpet.

  • @bLiTZxImPaKt

    It's not a cornet, it's a C-Trumpet.

  • @Erdbeerschorsch2011 EHehe, no, it's a Eb-Trumpet :)

  • youtube.com/watch?v=5bb2SzKcBFI&feature=colike

  • YOU ARE AWSOME

  • It was written for a keyed trumpet. Like a saxophone with a trumpet mouthpiece.(but shaped and held like a trumpet ) It was the first trumpet to play chromatically. Hummel used the same instrument for his concerto.

  • Your playing is amazing, Tine!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Very good :D

  • thats a strange looking kitchen...

  • could you fix this video into better quality?

  • Can somebody tell me how this concerto is suitable to show off the possibilites of a ventile trumpet opposed to a natural trumpet?

I'd put a lot of scales and chromatics in teh cadenza but thats me...

We know that Haydn wrote this piece for the first ventile trumpet design. Right?

  • @Contrapunctus1984

Eh... No idea really. I don't think so, cos they're ALL natural notes I believe.

  • @BreandaenFitheach Not a real reference, but Wikipedia backs me...

  • @Contrapunctus1984 because this was the first trumpet concert whit ventile. hayden where the first one to wright a consert whit a trumpet that could play cromatically.

  • weird kitchen

  • she's just magnificent!

  • I would LVOE to Triple Tongue her, Ralphael Mendes style

  • I LVOE YOU , Tine.

  • if i tried to play this, my lips would be molested

  • Expression as well as techinque. She plays beautifully!

  • shes the sexiest trumpet player ive ever seen! søt er hun også ;)

  • @chocdeekhapSingha How can you notice that and not notice the amazing music she makes?!

  • @Azerothian1 I have seen her live, and she IS this good.

  • Wow. This video is awesome! Such a pro. Stunning too!

  • There is a hint of Maurice Andre in her tone. I'm not saying it sounds exactly the same, but there is a hint.

  • @SouliaBoy yes , i agree.

  • It sounds so calm and I like it. I can't wait till i get my trumpet :3.

  • 138 people listen to street music

  • @adhddampfitta What exactly are you getting at?

  • Her interpretation is pretty romantic for a baroque piece, but she sells it SO WELL it is impossible to argue with. I wish I could play like she does.

  • damn, what a sound

  • well...this is fast.

  • nowosielce by nora linkins

  • I love how effortless she makes this look. She's amazing!

  • Learning this by ear because you can't be bothered to buy the sheet music

  • @Zee1198 just find free sheet music, cmon

  • @gomtao nah i looked, couldn't find it

  • @Zee1198 that's is totally me.

  • @Zee1198 Sheet music?!? If you are a decent trumpet player and you can't locate the notes by memory, there's something wrong with your sense of hearing.

  • @DancingSpiderman hey I said I'm not using sheet music !

  • very impressive,

    congratulations

  • I'm gonna be captain obvious and say I love her tone.

  • @elpyrodraco i love her kiss.

  • You inspired Me! i play trumpet too one day im going to be just like you! U sound VERY VERY Good!

  • The Haydn concerto can be kinda bland sometimes, but she plays it with so much flavor! I just remembered why I love this piece, and the trumpet for that matter :)

  • @5670jayana, when a performer is greater than the composer you have no other choice, but to rewrite the piece.

  • @5670jayana This was not played on bugle. It is one of the first pieces written for valved trumpet...hence the chromatics which are IMPOSSIBLE on a bugle unless you are playing more than one octave above the staff.

  • i think she listens to a recording of herself before she plays ;)

  • sooooo pro one 1 :)) <3
