Wow @ all the comments still. So, I addressed something on the other video, and I will do the same here. A&T didn't beef up, it's just that everyone happened to show up at the same time for this performance, since it was such a big event. It happens in every band - people flake out on the regular season games (because of homework, midterms, jobs, etc.) and show up for the fun stuff. It's happened before. It'll happen again. Don't be so shocked next time.
They sound good when they standing still but when they move they sound terrible,,,thats not hate, thats the truth, if you are a musician than you know I am right
I thought this show was much better than JSU's and FAMU's. I wish they would have cleaned up a little on the first song musically, but overall, it was pleasing to the eye. They actually marched. I thought this was a solid show overall. Keep up the good work NC&T.
Like I said earlier A&T had a tight show.I put them right after the 100.You might want to think twice before you talk smack about the 100.The MEAC by far was the better conference at HONDA.
A&T got unusually LARGE 4 this one performance?....?...? i mean im just sayin o and im not hatin yall sound good and i see the Spartan Legion has had a great affect on this band program they have indirectly made yall a better band (not given NSU yall credit but yall get what im tryna say) anyways GOOD JOB MACHINE!!
they didnt beef up for this performance at all... they were around this size all season... and if u look closely... there are gaps in the formations which let u know that not everybody is there to begin with....
what you talkin? Golden Delight dances, flags, twirls all on the same line. WHich is very hard. SOmething that NO other dance squad can or even try to do. As you can see they shut it down in the DOME. please know your band history before speaking.
First off we didn play the Usher show this season! So our show was fresh and new writtin by a wonderful arranger that arranged the piss out of this show!! And FAMU you did something that they did earlier in the season!! Ummmm
So what happend whn the 100 had everyone standing before they played one note.Their concert selection killed the entire Honda.Where was A&T standing O on their many songs.
The only reason why the 100 went was to bring the attendance back up which was down the years they didnt perform.Honda is another practice for the 100.

Im def. not a hater, over a dancing line? Please i'm an ex NC HS state cheerleading champion, and spent many 10 years with the Charlotte Allstars Cheerleading program! I never said they were not "good", they were def. on point this season, I simply said they over do it with there extra long routines. IMO, it comes off as begging for attention, look at me I can dance, twirl and spin a flag! As for my school, I go to WSSU our dance line is a TOTAL JOKE!!! Scarlet Lace is such as MESS!!
/ how is it extra long? its all in one performance. Most schools in the meac have seperate squads for flags and a dance line. And have a flag feature and a dance feature in there show. Golden delight incorporates both lines into one (wich is genius imo) and perform both features to still show their skills. so how is it any different from other bands doing a flag feature then march a short drill then do a dance feature then go to dance block.. ??? its the same thing just different order

Umm Yeah Golden delight is good, but they take themselves too seriously! All of there routine are 45sec to 1min TOO LONG, they throw in unnecessary elements which come off as a cry for attention, or a "LOOK AT ME" I can twirl a baton and flag. Hmm Golden Delight was sloppy in this performance IMO, but it was a long season I can imagine, not as crisp as they were throughout the season, still enjoyed the routine, but I still believe they tend to "OVER DO IT" a bit much, to get the recognition they think they deserve(which they totally earned this year). Who is there choreographer? Obviously that person has a jazz background, are they from Greensboro? Some of the girls seemed out of shape too!
trumpets have a decent middle range, but since none of them are screaming the trumpets should be A LOT stronger (they're kind of weak). The band, as a whole, sounds low brass heavy and high brass weak, but they're still not bring a lot of intensity and sound to the forefront. The arrangements are decent and the sound is "fairly" balanced, in-tune, decent intonation, euphoniums are getting a little excited @ time(LOL) blaring a bit. Overall, pretty decent performance.
Not to discredit your observations.But if they were made based solely on this clip, I question the validity. I witnessed this performance live, near the 50 on the concourse level and trust me the overall sound was not only balanced and in tune but very intense as well.I dare say that A&T had one of the more brilliant and intense sounds of any band there that night.If you were there and you still hold true to your opinion,that's your entitlement.
lol I dont kow what your were watching and listening too. But at the end of your observation if A&T was just pretty decent then the rest of the bands besides JSU just out right sucked then.. Cause JSU and A&T show was the highlight and far better than anybody else their. And A&T and JSU had wayyyyyyyyyy to much power going on. Str8 beasting. Yet sounded good. JSU had more balance problems and pitch issues. but was still raw.

When I think of intensity, I think of a sound that's "in your face" and it sounds good. This just sounded good. I'm not saying they did bad, actually they did good. Although I am a proud Alumni of the Might Bethune Cookman Marching Wildcats, this is one band program that I do respect tremendously, however, yall really need some better DM's they do not fit with all the energy and musicality that the band is delievering. But other than that A&T keep doing da damn thang!

Yea we had our slip up. but lets see we done gave out like 500 L's to recieveing maybe 3 L's and only one from a meac which was A&T in 2003. even A&t couldnt touch us these past few years. I still fill that A&T is not on the level of MEAC. they belong in the SWAC. IF you think NSU is a better band program than A&T then i dont care lol i march for SU

Im def. not a hater, over a dancing line? Please i'm an ex NC HS state cheerleading champion, and spent many 10 years with the Charlotte Allstars Cheerleading program! I never said they were not "good", they were def. on point this season, I simply said they over do it with there extra long routines. IMO, it comes off as begging for attention, look at me I can dance, twirl and spin a flag! As for my school, I go to WSSU our dance line is a TOTAL JOKE!!! Scarlet Lace is such as MESS!!

/ how is it extra long? its all in one performance. Most schools in the meac have seperate squads for flags and a dance line. And have a flag feature and a dance feature in there show. Golden delight incorporates both lines into one (wich is genius imo) and perform both features to still show their skills. so how is it any different from other bands doing a flag feature then march a short drill then do a dance feature then go to dance block.. ??? its the same thing just different order

Umm Yeah Golden delight is good, but they take themselves too seriously! All of there routine are 45sec to 1min TOO LONG, they throw in unnecessary elements which come off as a cry for attention, or a "LOOK AT ME" I can twirl a baton and flag. I must be the best, when in reality your not! GD remind me of toddlers who whine for attention, by trying to "OUT DO" everyone else at the play ground LOL

Golden Delight is by far the best in the MEAC. them girls be workin it. 14K is good too. all other meac squads cant even come close. Dancin Dolls, Jesettes, Golden Delight, 14k are the best. GD is the most versatile wich gives them a distinguished look. Wins the corwd over everytime. But i still stand with the Dolls.

Hmm Golden Delight was sloppy in this performance IMO, but it was a long season I can imagine, not as crisp as they were throughout the season, still enjoyed the routine, but I still believe they tend to "OVER DO IT" a bit much, to get the recognition they think they deserve(which they totally earned this year). Who is there choreographer? Obviously that person has a jazz background, are they from Greensboro? Some of the girls seemed out of shape too!

trumpets have a decent middle range, but since none of them are screaming the trumpets should be A LOT stronger (they're kind of weak). The band, as a whole, sounds low brass heavy and high brass weak, but they're still not bring a lot of intensity and sound to the forefront. The arrangements are decent and the sound is "fairly" balanced, in-tune, decent intonation, euphoniums are getting a little excited @ time(LOL) blaring a bit. Overall, pretty decent performance.

Not to discredit your observations.But if they were made based solely on this clip, I question the validity. I witnessed this performance live, near the 50 on the concourse level and trust me the overall sound was not only balanced and in tune but very intense as well.I dare say that A&T had one of the more brilliant and intense sounds of any band there that night.If you were there and you still hold true to your opinion,that's your entitlement.

lol I dont kow what your were watching and listening too. But at the end of your observation if A&T was just pretty decent then the rest of the bands besides JSU just out right sucked then.. Cause JSU and A&T show was the highlight and far better than anybody else their. And A&T and JSU had wayyyyyyyyyy to much power going on. Str8 beasting. Yet sounded good. JSU had more balance problems and pitch issues. but was still raw.

Why are you so defensive? If what u say is true, then Honda wasn't good. Just b/c it's Honda doesn't mean that these are the "best" bands in the HBCU b/c "obviously" that's not true. When I think of intensity, I think of a sound that's "in your face" and it sounds good. This just sounded good. I'm not saying they did bad, actually they did good. I was just stating what I thought about the 1st half of their show. I know what I was watching and listening too. I have college marching experience.

I can most def tell you that no MEAC band can stand up against SU. My respect for A&T comes in back from 2003 when they str8 beasted on us. Yea we had our slip up. but lets see we done gave out like 500 L's to recieveing maybe 3 L's and only one from a meac which was A&T in 2003. even A&t couldnt touch us these past few years. I still fill that A&T is not on the level of MEAC. they belong in the SWAC. IF you think NSU is a better band program than A&T then i dont care lol i march for SU

actually A&T was 192. A&T marched 230 in 2003 . llok at the clips from 2003 . to get a better picture of the band at a full 230 members look up the A&T vs SU vegas clips.; look how big the band was then compare it to this performance. and you would see that its not 225 but 192. and if you still think A&T marched 225 then you just a idiot.
