  • Nice Doobie! Your video is awesome! I have the 5k Warrior Dash coming up mid-august at Windham. I was definately spying your mud crawling technique! We're still trying to line up sitters for the kids too LOL!

  • @whisperwarehouse Thanks! It worked well, but my Army training slowed me down. I was taught to keep my belly and head down under wire. I could have come up and crawled on all fours between the overhanging wire and then used the "Picket pull" technique as I went under the wire.

  • DAMN! Misspelled "Implanted" in the opener! (facepalm!)

  • Doobie, Looks fun. How long was the actual distance of each segment of the run?

  • @jklinger031276 The overall race was a little over 5K. The distance between events varied. Some of the longer runs were (of course!) up hill between stations. The stations got closer to eachother near the bottom of the hill. The barb-wire crawl set a Guinness World Record for a wire obstacle. I am told it was about 400 meters! Make sure you check out the link to to winner's video in the info block for almost the whole course!

  • I did this exact race, one of the hardest things i've done in my life.... don't you wish you had video proof of that INSANE rock bucket carry??

  • @daniveg23 You know it! I wish I had video of all the folks who dumped their rocks out on the way up! Cheaters.

  • GO DOOBIE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's my brother-in-law, dudes!!! He is made of Awesome. Wow!!! Oh, my grad student John was deeply impressed as well. :)
