Everything is based off end game and DKP is a biased and unfair way to give away equipment and rewards, and in many aspects, not as productive as what you suggest. A good guild can delegate to whom needs the armor and should get it without having to use DKP to avoid agruments. DKP is a more of a way for power trips to keep thier own gear, give it to thier friends, or give it to nerds who dont need the gear.
