  • Wow really nice job :D

  • @JakeDTX I would advise that you hook up with a local reenacting group before you buy anything so that they can show you what you should and should not buy. Please e-mail me so that I can help you get into the hobby and have a good time at it. Thank you for watching.

  • @JakeDTX sorry for the delayed reply. We use regular surplus bolt action rifles for our reenactments. Type 44 is a very specialized piece and the only place that it would be used is when/if you are reenacting ca IJA cavalry unit. As for the other infantry rifles, I would advise you get type-99 or 38, which can be acquired for fraction of the price of the type 44 and are very versatile in its usage in reenacting. I would start scouring local gun show for them. As for reenacting...

  • have you guys done any banzai charges?

  • @squirlysquirly969 We have done that, but no in this video.

  • i gotta go see this the next time it is held. i only live about a 5 hrs. dirve from there.

  • @nomadnametab Where are you located? I am in Houston and my drive is about 5 hours. I will be more than willing to share a ride with you.

  • @bigfallout3fan101 typically we dont get paid, but some museum sponsored events may pay and feed us. Thank you for watching.

  • ok so how do you make explosions?

  • @caka41 Well, in this one there are some professional pyrotechnic guys that make this happen... Not sure what all they use for it.

  • what exactely do they use to fire out of the guns

  • @HewieOfHG We use blank ammunition for the rifles and the flamethrower uses jet fuel (it is a functioning flamethrower).

  • @tornaka Okay yes they are blanks but how do you know if you get hit and how does no one accidentely get hit by the flame thrower and how can I get invalved withthis reeanactment stuff

  • LOL, I have never been to Guadacanal, but Fredericksburg was pretty hot that day. Flamethrower did not help any either.

    Thank you for watching

  • Way cool, bet Fredricksburg is as hot as Guadalcanal!
