They are bundling tax breaks for wind, solar and other alternative energy projects into the bill, as if that's the only way. Those tax breaks should be on a separate bill... What a swindel. The FDIC insurance increase is only temporary. It should be permanent and it should be on a separate bill as well. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. It's time Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader join forces.

Wall Street reacted to the defeat of the bailout by dropping several hundred points off NYSE. This is very much like a sulky teenager storming up to his room and smashing his stereo because he didn't get a raise in his allowance.

This gives me confidence now that the Bail Out was not passed, that we might actually do something right.

I think we need to have the government buy the homes from the banks for the people, keeping the people in their homes, turning ARM's into fixed low rates, and the government owning and earning the interest from the repayments from the people.

We need to take the authority and the wealth away from those who scammed our economy.
