Well, I think that's the joke. The album frequently refers to "boogieman" There's a Mos Def appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher where he denounces spreading of terrorist paranoia as just making Osama Bin Laden into a boogieman. I didn't agree with about half of what he said, but Mos has a knack for being way out there and still making a good argument. I read the skit at the opening as what might come to be if our terrorist paranoia goes out of control.
