the 7" version is a waste of money and total garbagr but the 10" version is a much better macine.Games for this are garbage and those that are decent wont run propper on either machine.Spoke to elonex and a update for 2.2 android is aimed to be available earlier next year
I just got Elonex from Toys R Us with the case/keyboard for £180 and it's was worth the money. Remember if you want an IPad go buy one but if you want a pad for internet, email and basic stuff this will do you just fine. It's a pity it's not running 2.2 with Flash support though
@Damo3445 That's the price for the 7" 128mb ram version not worth buying as you really need at least 256mb ram for android to run smoothly and run the apps
ToysRus UK sold these for £149:99! Sold out now, not surprisingly! At that price, what's to lose? It's not an iPad, but it's not half a grand either! I think it's pretty cool. Many folk who can't afford the iPad will definetely buy this!
This is just a rebranded zenithink tablet which has been available for about 6 weeks now and can be picked up pretty much anywhere for under 200usd including shipping. I have 3 videos up of my zenithink tablet which is identical to this one both hardware wise and visual design down to each and every port
Main downside I can see is the resistive screen as opposed to going down the capacative route. I'm guessing resistive is cheaper, but it is going to limit the amount you can do on it, as resistive only allows one touch at a time (unless they've adapted it, in which case it's going to be a very nice product indeed, especially at a third of the price of the iPad).
it's 11th Sept 2010 I want one of these. Where the hell are they.
I will buy one today if I can. Cannot find one anywhere.
With the touted price of £199 for the 10 inch and £155 for the 7 inch and android 2.1 (and this guy is saying updateable to 2.2) I can't see how these won't be going off the shelves like hotcakes.
Does anyone know whether there is a Flash drive for the above.

BE CREATIVE AND DESIGN YOUR OWN PRODUCTS INSTEAD OF COPYING APPLE
OAWALKER 1 year ago
@OAWALKER they only do it because they know it works with the public. basic marketing.
coldfustion 1 year ago
@OAWALKER I take your point, but I say ... copy apple if you want to sell stock.
Apples design is simple yet outstanding. I'd copy it to the best of my ability within the restrictions of the law.
It's not about being creative, it's about selling product. Apple's design has a proven track record.
