However, i must say that i think Alan Wake will be a much better game than Heavy Rain. It's made by Remedy and written by Sam Lake. Pretty much speaks for itself. It cant go wrong.
This game is probably not coming to pc (microsoft is betraying us, pc gamers, once more), but nevermind, we got STALKER, World in Conflict and the REAL Crysis (not the half graphics one) and a lot of mmorpg and multiplayer fps based on unreal engine for free.

Counter-Strike, Half-life, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 dead. This is what I mean by Valve Software. Sure, they are FPS, but almost all of their PC counter-parts sold over 5 times than all their console versions alone. And Valve continues to support this. Valve even lets you use their Hammer editor to do something creative.
Both the FPS and MMORPG has done so much for computer gaming. People thing PC gaming is dead, but it's not. Even Crysis had a lot of potential.

And why would developers need to cater multiple combinations a PC could be running on? Alan Wake requires a multiple-core processor in order to run it. It's not like my Pentium 4 processor can run it, right?

Programming a game to handle as many combinations of pc parts as possible is a hassle to say the least. To try and make a game run just as good on a shitty pc and a great pc takes alot of programming. And when people just go and torrent the game it makes all that work a waste of time. As for consoles im not saying they don't pirate them but games are easier to make because. . .
every xbox 360 is the same, they don't need to adjust to every setting known to man. It's less hassle, and it's going to make money. Wow graphically this game looks like the best looking console game ever, the sunset and mountains look almost real, face models could be a bit better though. The physics on this are meant to be amazing, and are looking good from what I have seen.

lol Installing games on a PC is really easy, you just need to put the CD in the disk tray and then follow the instructions. Or just install the game if you downloaded the game. The hard part in installing is meeting the requirements for a certain game. Sometimes you need to buy some PC parts so you can play the game. That's the reason why some people prefer consoles more than a PC. I still use my PC though

A bit more on topic with the video, I think this'd make a better movie than a game. The plot has story is really quite interesting, but all in all the game looks a little bit generic to me. Hopefully I'm wrong, but from the looks of things, I'm not holding my breath for it.

No matter how you look at these consoles they have diferent things for different people.
I disagree...sorta. 360 has a bigger game library and better online, but the PS3 has just as many if not more great exclusives. As far as graphics go, multiplat games are pretty much the same. For exclusives, I think PS3 graphics are slightly better, but not by much. BluRay is more for movies, but for games it has tons of more room, allowing more content.
I think overall, though, both consoles are pretty much equal. It's the little, personal things that become the deciding factor.

There are certain aspects of a game that you can judge before playing it: graphics, company producing the work, premise, etc. You generally can't judge aspects like game control and story progression without first playing it.

Price is also a reason. Many games lately don't deserve the high rank of price lately.
Dead Space? A master piece, but rarely deserves 49 bucks as price.
Mirror's Edge? One of the most bugged and shortest games, and you had to wait until you can pay them under 30 bucks?
Many gamers lost expectations of the new games of game companies and only buy games if the developers deserve it.
Price makes the quality up for a game, but every new lousy gameplay junk should be worth 50 bucks?

Uhm, I wasn't fighting about which one is better. I just pointed out the fact that PS3 sucks ass. Although 360 has great online it still sucks ass too.

Games library my ass. Mainly what comes out on consoles is ported to PC too. Just google the games you have.

lol Installing games on a PC is really easy, you just need to put the CD in the disk tray and then follow the instructions. Or just install the game if you downloaded the game. The hard part in installing is meeting the requirements for a certain game. Sometimes you need to buy some PC parts so you can play the game. That's the reason why some people prefer consoles more than a PC. I still use my PC though

People complain that the proccess of installing a game is too difficult. Therefore having to just put a CD in a console is much preffered by many.

A bit more on topic with the video, I think this'd make a better movie than a game. The plot has story is really quite interesting, but all in all the game looks a little bit generic to me. Hopefully I'm wrong, but from the looks of things, I'm not holding my breath for it.

Fanboys can never appreciate a game for what it is. It's always a "point for Microsoft" or a "point for Sony". And here we are now with a great looking game for the 360, and all they do is talk about how it's going to be better than any game on the PS3. Seriously, no one wins! PS3 has great games and 360 has great games. End of story. It's almost like you're not content with your system, so you have to go and bash the other one to feel better.

I disagree...sorta. 360 has a bigger game library and better online, but the PS3 has just as many if not more great exclusives. As far as graphics go, multiplat games are pretty much the same. For exclusives, I think PS3 graphics are slightly better, but not by much. BluRay is more for movies, but for games it has tons of more room, allowing more content.
I think overall, though, both consoles are pretty much equal. It's the little, personal things that become the deciding factor.

There are certain aspects of a game that you can judge before playing it: graphics, company producing the work, premise, etc. You generally can't judge aspects like game control and story progression without first playing it.

PS3 is better in everything, it has BLU RAY you have a maximum of 8,7 gb for a game we already have 500 gb and in 2013 1 TB.
