Kasim Reed is such a fucking liar, if he is lying about Mary being a Republican, then what else would this liar be capable of. Plus this mayoral race is suppose to be bi-partisan and he and that dragon lady Borders have turned it into something that is nothing.
Obviously so many of you are judging this person based on this video. Personally I will take Norwood over "Insider" Reed or "Corporate Queen" Lisa any day of the week. Mary may not be as slick and connected to Franklin as Kaseem or connected to big business as Lisa, but she cares about the people of this city and will work hard for them and not the corporate interest who have been allowed to run roughshod over this city for the last 30+ years.
It just suffices to note that a real jerk edited these videos in this manner to discredit Mary Norwood. Oh, whoopee, what are you... a third-grader? Who are you going to slander next?

Though I dont support Ms. Norwood for Mayor...this is a pretty dumb video. There is no need to slice up her recordings to show her incompetency. Simply going to the candidates websites and comparing their issues tells it all. Ms. Norwood only has two issues and leaves out numerous huge issues for Atlanta. Namely education and transportation. In addition, the issues she does have listed read as brain storming exercises rather than an actual agenda how to go about attaining her goals.
What a stupid video. How about we see the bloopers of the other candidates as well. If your going to post something, how about positive things about the candidates.

I've spoken to my council member and although she wouldn't say it directly, the inference was that Norwood isn't the brightest bulb on city council...and that she was disorganized.
I'm not a big Norwood fan, but if her stumbling over her words is your big reason we shouldn't vote for her, that's stupid. There may be reasons, but slipping over a few words shouldn't be one of them.
Sure slipping over a few words shouldn't be one of the reasons, but slipping over words because she is not focused on more of the serious issues and therefore unable to form a logical, reasonable, clear, and concise opinion should be a reason.
I would get slammed in a debate if I tripped over my tongue just once---and that was in middle school!
