  • at what point in this video does the kid do a guillotine? unless their is a wrestling move seperate from the jiu jitsu move?

  • @devonmac95 This move is called a Twister in MMA and has no relevance to the "Guillotine" you're refering to.

  • @Christopheerful oh ok thanks

  • although guys, u have to say, when fighting someone on the street, if you try to lock up with them, they'll stab you or something

  • dang this dude was checking the oil real hard at 12 seconds!!! lol

  • Going to learn this one.

  • guy on bottom: wtf!! what is he doing?

    guy on top: goodbye!!

guy on bottom: ohh nooo!!! shit!! -.-

  • It only takes him 37 seconds to finish the young man off!

  • The man in the blue wrestling singlet obviously isn't planning to give his opponent in the red and blue singlet any gentle treatment. He explodes out of a crouch position in the first second of the match and quickly delivers some punishing moves to his opponent's body to show that he is the superior, dominant young man in this match

  • Wow, the muscular man in the blue wrestling singlet clearly dominates and manhandles the man in the red and blue singlet from the very first second---he systematically works him over, chops him down and methodically sets him up for a punishing guillotine hold to finish him off! Beautiful execution the whole way through! The young man in the red and blue wrestling singlet is visibly gimacing at the end of the match.

  • Holy hell that was sick!

  • I know what is it from the vid, but I want to know what the other wrestler is doing. Choking him, twisting his neck, what?

  • @starladear002 he is neither choking him nor twisting his neck as both are illegal and he could not pin the kid with those. He is however showing you a prime example of the only time it is legal to encircle the head without also having an arm in wrestling

  • They call it boy's and girl's basketball, but they call it men's and women's wrestling. Only boys dribble balls.

  • Can someone please explain to me what is going on in a guillotine? Is the winner choking his neck? Once he wrapped his arm around the neck the loser just went limp.

  • @starladear002 It is a crank in MMA/JJ

  • Wrestling IS a martial art. It is the most dominant martial art in mixed martial arts YOU FUCKING IDIOT @ TheErickH33 Did I mention FUCK YOU? by the way this isn't a guillotine. It's a twister.

  • @2084Bob Actually it is a guillotine, it was adapted for use in JJ/MMA by Eddie Bravo. In wrestling it is a guillotine in MMA/JJ it`s a twister

  • Whose calling Wrestling gay? Remember you sissy basketball players it takes two balls to wrestle compared to basketball. A 103 pounder can beat up anyone on the basketball team after his first year lol.

  • 2 things wasnt that a twister. i was in wrestling last year i went 6 and 1 but on my 8th match witch btw was on valentines day i picket this guy up with a double leg and when i slammed him down i posted my hand 2 earlie and broke my alma near the elbow it suck the pop was so loud the room with screaming parent went quite... i let out a blood curdling scream and my mom cryed a lil bit and drove me to the hostpital witch was write down the road but i cant wrestle this year for money issues:(

  • @seanger09

i wont bother saying how those guys are mma fighters or how their success, edgar and jones specifically, stems from striking more than wrestling. heres the key point. you can go into a fight without any foreknowlege of wrestling and win if you know jiu jitsu. if you go into a fight without any jiu jitsu skill you will more than likely be tapped out even if your the olympic champion. wrestlings an important aspect of fighting but, i would argue that if you only are going to do one st

  • @Whrenaldo You can go into any fight whithout ant previouse knowledge and win.... See that point about ju-jitsu would be correct 30 years ago when no one knew about ju-jitsu but now its common knowledge in the world of mma for defending submissions. Its best to know both hs wrestling and ju-jitsu though. wrestling for knowing how to throw the guy around and ju-jitsu to finish him

  • @sarahstrand what im saying is that jiu jitsu is superior to wrestling in winning fights. and if you go into an mma fight with your average fighter and you have no jiu jitsu knowlege you will more than likely lose rather than if you had no wrestling experiance and you still can win off your back. you need to have it all but i see it all the time when wrestlers come into mma they need to learn submissions and defense before fighting because they just get tapped out.

  • Wrestling is NOT a sport

    its a martial art

and every "sport" that ends with ball

    is just a game

  • @TheErickH33 Are you high ? not all sports end in " ball " , Wrestling is NOT a martial art , Wrestling IS a sport

  • @TheErickH33

    Sport Noun:

An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others.

  • @TheErickH33 thats bullshit, any sport that ends with ball is A SPORT. football is A SPORT. wrestling is a sport too. its under the list of high school sports moron!

  • this whole style arguement has already been settled. to be the best you have to know it all. and as far as style versus style see the early UFCs. jiu jitsu wins out. same goes for no gi versus gi. marcelo garcia trains gi 6 days a week and no gi 1. he was no gi champ.

  • @Whrenaldo just cause gsp didn't start out wrestling doesn't mean he is not a wrestler. wrestlers are the most successful cause they have the ability to take the fight where they want it and control there opponent. and no shit it requires other shit thats why its mma. saying there wrestlers i didn't imply that that was there only skill it is just there strongest.current champions prove it. jones, gsp, cain, edgar. how many jiu jitsu champs are there? NOT 1

  • @seanger09 anderson silva has ju-jitsu.... but thats not the point. wrestlers are the best fighters, we train the hardest out of everyone, wrestling uses strength whle ju-jitsu is using minimal effort to win. i do high school wrestling AND judo (and boxing). I know my shit.

  • @sarahstrand dude THANK you finally not a hater reply, i also like to think i know a decent amout about this sport, i placed 4th in high school state last year my sophomore year and train at a MMA gym.

  • @seanger09 Sweet man, im in my senior year right now. shoulda placed last year but i had to go through 2 knee surgeries i get to start up again beginning of the year. i should be wrestling right now but i got a urinary tract infection from running to much =/ droppin the weight to 138. im at 144 and i was 152 a month ago.

  • @sarahstrand Make sure you drink lots of water to keep yourself well diluted and drink at least 2 glasses of cranberry juice daily.

  • @sarahstrand but you dont do Brazillian Jiu Jitsu , so you cant say anything about BJJ if you dont know it , ask a black belt in Jiu JItsu , or one of the Gracies in BJJ , then comment about what Jiu Jitsu is about and what ut us , im not trying to say Wrestling sucks but im saying Jit Jitsu very usefull to self defend or attack

  • people call wrestling gay and UFC straight. the only difference is striking and submission. also on top of that in UFC it is sweaty skin on sweaty skin there is no barrier between you and your skin. just saying.

  • @JainRainLife me too

  • this is an amazing move!!! this is my favorite after the banana split

  • @PearsonWC2 I didn't say it wasn't a wrestling move. I just said it's a choke in jiu jitsu.

  • That's a cool pin, but a guillotine is a choke in jiu jitsu.

  • @eerdman5 nooo, its also a wrestling move too. Its both but yea i heard of the MMA gullotine before the wrestling one

  • i like how the coach is saying wrestle wrestle wrestle. would the kid be like, what the fuck do you think i'm doing???

  • What exactly is going on in a guillotine? Is the guy choking his opponent, twisting his head, bending his head, pressing his windpipe so he can't breathe? Someone please let me know. Thanks!

  • @itsmegp46 Wrestling and jiu-jitsu share some terminology and some is different. What is called a "guillotine" in wrestling is commonly called a "twister" in jiu-jitsu. A guillotine in jj is a front choke which would serve no purpose in wrestling where choking is illegal and pulling guard exposes ones own back to the mat.

  • i wrestle and ik why pepole call it gay ITS WHAT WE WEAR GUYS lol

  • i put a kid in a guillotine and im a heavyweight. proudest moment.

  • Damn... SOLID ground control.

  • @hummurabi2010 You ain't lying. Awesome at maintaining close distance.

  • To deny the effectiveness of wrestling is total shit. Wrestling is an extremely effective way to fight - whether it's the street or MMA. That being said, I still cannot say that wrestling is superior to BJJ or Judo, both of which are very effective martial arts themselves. While I can agree that a wrestler could give BJJ guys problems, I think the opposite is also true. Not to mention that PURE wrestlers have a bad habit of rolling to their belly, exposing their back. BAD.

  • @Warmonger1178 plus when wrestlers start jiu jitsu they freak out sometimes if they get in a bad position.

  • @Warmonger1178 the best pure wrestler in the world would get submitted in two seconds by a white belt in BJJ. Its a whole different world with a BJJ fighter

  • @devonmac95 You are totally mistaken. If that's what you truly believe, you have never grappled a high-caliber pure wrestler... I will agree that in a GRAPPLING match, the PURE wrestler will be in more danger of being submitted by a submission fighter (BJJ, Judo, etc), but I know several wrestlers that would absolutely dominate many white belts. I think you are grossly underestimating the effectiveness of wrestling.

  • @Warmonger1178 Ok, ya i guess i exaggerated a bit, since It really depends a lot on the fighter, but BJJ allows so many things that wrestling doesnt, so if its a pure wrestler, he shouldn't know how to escape positions like closed/half guard, or an omoplata, and he would be in a completely different world. Now teach that wrestler some BJJ and now hes one tough mofo

  • How is being a good wrestler not make you a good fighter ? If we go against other wrestlers our whole lives and can manage to get takedowns against equally experienced and trained people . What do you think were going to do against the rest of the population . If we know how to put each other on our backs and hold positions , do you actually think someone is going to be able to get up once we put them down ? We will slam them to the concrete and throw a few punches down on their face . GAME OVER

  • @1madinjun u are a dumbass its called brazilian jiu jitsu and judo..... even though im a wrestler im tired of people saying that wrestling is the best in a fight... its not

  • @videogamespoofer Ah yes the debate of the oh so popular BJJ versus the inferiority of every other grappling art . I noticed that you put BJJ not Ju Jutsu or Jiu Jitsu . No you specifically put BJJ which shows me that your just a typical brainwashed and narrow minded individual . Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu have been around longer than your beloved BJJ . Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a style of Ju Jutsu and considering about 40 % of the techniques include a gi I will stick to my wrestling thanks .

  • @1madinjun oh sorry if i made it sound like that... wat i meant was that people shouldnt just single out wrestling an say its the best ground fighting. Sure its the most common but anyone with jiu jitsu or judo knowledge would be able to handle an if lucky be able to throw the wrestler off of him. And the Gi dont mean shit you can use 95% of the moves without a Gi. Such as an armbar, rear naked, triangle... Simple moves like those are easily used without the gi.

  • it was good but did that kid suck? seemed like he screwed himself by falling back

  • wrestling is THE HARDEST sport and the most DEMANDING sport there is

  • Not only did he win by guillotine, but he butt dragged the guy too for a bit.

  • wrestlings not gay its gay at 0:22 when he says watch the junk though

  • Wtf did I just see.I've been wrestling for three years and haven't seen that move

  • ouch!!

  • plus that not a giiilyyteen at all

  • @orwiad10 thats a wrestling guillotine. get ur mma iq up

  • @ndunchie i wrestled for 7 years i think i know what move that wasnt.

  • @orwiad10 really so whats that moved called? and why are there so any other videos with that move called WRESTLING GUILLOTINE

  • @ndunchie have you ever wrestled in you life?

  • @orwiad10 obviously. but thats not the subject of the matter

  • the twister

  • wrestlerz are fighters...without wrestling no kind of Army could Combat fight.....

  • @extremejigeyjango2 half right its like brizilian ju jutsu and wrestling

  • @orwiad10 I know....But Wrestling Playz a Big Part in the Army.....If there was no Wrestling then it would kinda be hard to train an Army wouldn't it?

  • @extremejigeyjango2 not really cuz of the bjj is such a big part of our training

  • @ObeseSquirrel yes but human beings arent the strongest animals in the world go wrestle a bear and try to touch its ass like u do with ur man friends

  • @dallaswoodbam your a fucking idiot, why would i wrestle a bear.

  • Wrestling is pretty cool; but you wrestlers need to admit something -- the singlet looks terribly gay.

  • @RufusRandolf yes VERY gay and i wreslte but the sport itself is NOT gay....

  • yea u kno the ufc heavyweight champion cain velesquez?? yea he was a wretsler so fuck up wrestling is the hardest sport

  • If you call wrestling gay...You clearly were too big of a pussy to last one day of practice. Basketball a sport??? please If wrestling was easy they would have named it basketball.

  • @MrChancellor15 haha coach said the same thing

  • @MrChancellor15 Yeah dude in HS I'm not in really good shape and I wasn't really impressive at the sport in middle school(1-5 my whole 2 years of matches at the school) but I survived the Middle School practices but after my first HS Practice, Not a single part of my body wasn't sore and while practicing a takedown, I landed on my back and hit my head so hard that I got really dizzy and I was about to like puke because there were 2 more hours left.

So basically I'm saying you are right!

  • @MrChancellor15 I LOVE THIS COMMENT! I want this guy to try ONE day of wrestling practice

  • watch the junk, haha classic. great video!!

  • this is called the twister..

  • im 6'2 220 pounds wrestled my whole highschool carrer and im teling you right i would love to see you stand up to wrestler your size i have wrestled for 7 years and had a gf for two deffinetly not gay

  • guillotines are so fun to use in middle school because you get tohe cross body and kids reach for your head

  • @prettysurejayisgay Rethink your statement.

  • I did bjj for a while. Wrestlers were about the only martial artists we really respected. Guys from the local university would drop in on occasion to train with us. They would show us takedowns, and we would show them submissions.

  • nice move

  • people who call wrestling gay are just afraid to put on a singlet cuz then ppl wud know they have tiny dicks

  • definately not gay. it could get u outta gettin ur ass handed to u by someone bigger than u if u were to get into a real fight

  • @ObeseSquirrel W/E!

  • @ObeseSquirrel Strongest and gayest humans!

  • @mamananau if its so gay, why are you watching it

  • @Dnguyennnnn Cause the video title was interesting. I didn't know I'll end up watching a video liek that^^

  • @OrionLong lolz :D

  • douche bags call wrestling gay when they are the best fighters in the world.

  • @prettysurejayisntgay True. Some even go to the WWE where they must also be fluent in blading and acting :D

  • @wiithepeople2 First off thats not real wrestling. If you want real wrestling or fighting go to ufc. Third of all those so called "Gay wrestlers" could beat the living shit out of you so shut the fuck up.

  • @prettysurejayisntgay ufc is the gayest thing ever to be on t.v. or made by anyone. Real fighting Is in K-1. And real wrestling.. well youre wathing it here

  • @Kocaz69 UFC is gay? Bahaha. Your gay.

  • @prettysurejayisntgay well wrestling isnt gay i wrestle but i dont think they are the best FIGHTERS in the world ufc fighters could be.

  • @prettysurejayisntgay wrestlers are not fighters

  • @prettysurejayisntgay they are great athletes though.

  • @prettysurejayisntgay

i will agree that wrestling is not gay at all, but being a good wrestler does not make someone a good fighter....being a good fighter makes someone a good fighter.

  • @prettysurejayisntgay they're best at takedowns and hugging... not the best fighters

i don't think it's gay but purely wrestling for fighting is pretty useless... you'll need to add other martial arts to make it effective. BJJ or judo are more complete packages and no-gi is imo the best prue martial art

  • @prettysurejayisntgay I mean wrestlers aren't the best fighters but the sport is not gay at all. People just say that because they can't go out there and do it on their own.

  • @prettysurejayisntgay Right. Just because two guys want to roll around on the floor groping each other doesn't make them fags automatically, but it sure seems likely!

  • @prettysurejayisntgay

i dont know about them being the best fighters in the world

  • @Whrenaldo are you kidding matt heughs/wrestler cane velasquez/wrestler cley guida/wrestler gsp/wrestler every fighter if they want to be good has to know a little bit about wrestling.

  • @OrionLong lol its not like I play video games 24/7 dude... But I do better sports than wrestling. Because I don't like to touch other men wearing shit like that.

btw. "it gets so fucking intense" made it even worse xD

  • @OrionLong Ehm ye. Playing online games is prolly less gay than touching other men :D

  • @Chinxboy312 at my school we call that checking the oil LOL

  • @omeaga11 ROFL checking the oil, cant stop laughing.

  • nice i gonna use it

  • damn this kid is so outmatched...used to love riding legs and getting guys into that move, you can almost always pin them...check out my folkstyle wrestling videos

  • somabody call the boner police

  • Thats not a Guillotine, that saw one of the ways you can pin someone in a leg ride. The Guillotine is like the Cross country but just a tiny bit different of a finish.

  • Looks like a side neck crank to me. I thought he was going to do a choke.

  • This is where Eddie Bravo go his twister from in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ;) You can break the back/spine if you crank on the head

  • @Tino13 different game bro

  • 0:12 is technically called rape

  • @Chinxboy312 It's called a butt drag.

  • haha

  • thats not called a guillotine

  • dam tat was pretty kool...

  • u did the roll under 1 i like the 1 when u pull it over ur head, it hurts more

  • damn pretty nice

  • oh baby im so using this on tuesday

    west finals baby

  • great move

  • lol it can be used it jui jitsu, i've made a few tap with it because it almost rips your arm out of socket lol but is this move still legal? last year when i attempted my first leg ride in a match i went for this and as soon as i locked the ref called it ilegal, i don't know if i just had a shitty ref or what but i was pissed.

  • um... that was wrestling, not jiu-jitsu

  • Nice. My first your wrestling in high school 152 I landed in this I didn't know what the hell I had but I got 3 near fall and won 7 to 4 with like 11 seconds left in regions

  • nice, dudes tough on top

  • in jiu jitsu this move is called a twister, but in wrestling its a guillotine. everyone shut up!

  • no this is not a 'fake' guillotine. its been around for ever and just happens to share the same name. Oddly enough Eddie bravo uses this move. When he was a high school wrestler this was one of the only moves he did well. Its incredibly painful, especially when you apply more pressure to the head. He simply calls it the 'twister' which is a fitting name because your body ends up in a lot of places at once. not a fun move to get caught with but incredibly fun to use.

  • this isnt ufc so how can there be a guillotine????????

  • your an idiot! a guillotine a "ufc" move. besides ufc isnt a sport, its a company. in ufc the do mma which is mixed martial arts. and there are multiple guillotines and the one you are talking about is from jiu jitsu, not "ufc"

  • for all you chumps, this is a WRESTLING guillotine not a BJJ guillotine

  • so a fake guillotine?

  • i hope you know thats not a guillotine

  • looked like a crank to me. I don't know why someone downed you comment.

  • @daftkyle its not the choke this is wrestling not ufc

  • exactly, a fake guillotine.

  • not for wrestling its not fake

  • holy fucking retard shut ur mouth.

  • oh that was completely uncalled for

  • what are you six years old? killl your self u dumb piece of shit.

  • how am i acting like im six

  • i hope you die in a house fire you. im gunna infect you anthrax and make your dog into moccasins.

  • plz shut up

  • its still legal in rhode island haha! :D

  • its a great move if u rlly kno how to do it otherwise ull pin urself

  • one of my fav moves

  • i like this one a lot and it isn't illegal i have done it before in matches

  • why would this be illegal?

  • It's a cervical. It's the same as Bravo's twister and illigal in BJJ competition and now in wrestling. Thechnically, you can crack the back with it. :)

  • thats a bummer because I do both =(. This move loooks awesome and easy

  • this is my favorite move but i always get called

never stops me from goin for it though :)

  • this is my all time favorite move as well and was not illegal when i wrestled

  • does teh 140 weight class have more fat people than muscular people?

  • no...there is no weight class that has more fat than muscular except maybe heavyweight maybe 215

  • nice man thats one of my favorite moves to but almost every time i pull there arm up i get called for potentially dangerous

  • NICE!

  • Nice usually guys post videos of themselves and they are puds. good work man. nice.

  • just askin this move shuddnt be done on somebodyy thats taller than you right?

  • Nope. they can straighten out thier leg and you end up your back

  • that was like perfect

  • I wish i was able to get in a leg ride......lol yay 215's and 285s
