this song would be such an awesome background for an "Assassin's Creed" music video. the guy in the hood "Hrithik" would make an awesome Altair if they decide to make it a movie. They both are about the same height and both have very athletic, not too buff bodies. This could expose Hrithik internationally.

if you hear any sort of middle eastern element to indian music, it is because of the muslim empire of the Mughals who invaded and later influenced them. thats why India is a good hybrid of music and literature, arts.

@maxten that is why all of the muslim countries listen to bollywood and have no real musical culture of their own, correct? i think you need to do some research. all of the countries are similar because they are close together and on the same continent. they differ in cultures and religions/beliefs etc. but if you look at afghanistan, iraq, iran, kurdistan, turkey - they do not have a wide array of music/film and most listen to indian music/watch indian cinema.

what sort of research? i know they have a lot of similarities due to islamic expansion during the beginning of the medieval period. plus to my ears, almost all of mideast songs are in the minor note, so they almost feel the same to me.

Well Mughal emperors weren't Arabs they were Mongolian, Turkish, afghan(pathan) mixed.
Also most of the good foods you eat are because of Muslim Mughal empire. Biryani, Mughlai paratha, beef, chicken kabob, different vegetable flavors etc.
