I just love that Pokeradar App, man. two days ago I found SEVEN shiny Eevees using it! XD I'm turning every last one of them into ther evolutions. this stuff is pretty easy after you get used to it. I'm VERY happy there's a LEGIT way to do this because there are so many cheaters these days. All i can tell you guys is to visit Shukochan's vid on how to do it right ( it has over 1,000,000 views to this day)-- and for the love of God, DO NOT LISTEN TO PSYPOKE'S WAY OF DOING IT.

@TSCCepisodes Yup, this was my 400th. I know what you mean when it comes to 1 in 8192 shiny pokemon. I've only encountered 14 since playing ruby. They definitely rarer than poke radar shiny, but I take'm as they come. Sorry to hear that, it happens to everyone. We all just hope to be lucky enough to encounter one in the game. Just keep at it and be patient, you'll make it to chain 40 the more you practice. You can actually reset at chain 30, but it takes longer and thanks for the congrats.

@inm0ti0n you need the to have receive the poke radar from professor Rowan after completing the Sinnoh dex and the poke app # 20 from professor Oak at the pal park. Highest I ever got was 19 for Smeargle. I would have kept going if it wasn't for me going near the edge of the patch. (BTW, Smeargle can be found by using Poke Radar on the patch in the south of Route 212.)

The shiny patch can appear at chain 40 randomly, but you'll mainly have to reset the radar for it. The odds of finding one at chain 40 are 1 in 204. I wish you luck.

When you get to a chain of 40, the odds become 1/200. There is some exponent that causes the increase in odds. not sure which.
