  • Great video! Couldn't agree more. All of the abrahamic faiths are pretty insane.

What was the music starting from 3:03?

  • @weelittledragon In Tenebres by Rhapsody of Fire. ^_^

  • @ThinkingReality Thanks. I thought it was by Rhapsody of Fire.

  • I never understood Christians hating Jews. Without the Jews, they would have no Sacrificial lamb. Especially those that believe in a sort of predeterminism, where God had already planned everything anyway.

Anyway, enough about that rant... I don't fully understand the video because I love dressing up in my Nazi attire....

  • hello Christians ThinkingReality just held a mirror to your face

    so take a good look.

And realize how stupid you look to somebody who isn't brain-impaired... eh sorry

    who is a rational being.

  • The sad thing about this...is that this is EXACTLY what is happening with white nationalists and 'race realists' (racists)...

  • If its religion or any brain washing to the too young is wrong.

  • Atheist here, and frankly the video was a bit too pathos oriented for my tastes, and not actually around what I thought a channel called "Thinking Reality" would be about. Especially the last little spoken bit seemed to be wavering dangerously close to too much of an obnoxiously angry strawman. I see where you're coming from, just a bit of a small friendly critique.

  • Spot on. Whenever moderate Christianity / Judaism / Islam is mentioned I can't shake the feeling of watered-down Nazism / Fascism / Communism.

    Holly books my a§§.

  • Wow, the ending was bit of a surprise. I was picturing muslims the whole time (their führer and antisemitism etc.).

Christians have the possibility to scrap the old testament. It's only in the bible because of the judaisers. It wasn't in the first one. Actually they are giving new converts only the new testament at the beginning and introduce the old only later. There is some hope that they go back to the real christianity and teach only the part considering them (a NEW contract afterall).

  • @unitasetmagus Without "original sin", which is in the Old testament, there is no need for Jesus and the New testament.

  • @csnowutube The original sin was the con to get stuff from people to priests. He died to end that bullshit - no more sacrifices. I know, they tried it again with indulgences and other shit, but that wasn't what he taught to begin with, like - no more temple ("you body is temple"), no more priests (you are the priesthood) etc..

But if you insist leaving the old contract, then only as a warning.

  • @unitasetmagus Right, original sin was a "con", a lie. Since it is not true, there is no reason for a "redeemer". He died because he was a blasphemer of the then current religion.

  • @csnowutube True, the sin was con (not lie), but at the same time the con was the sin - for that reason he was a messiah. Blasphemer for the establishment but that didn't reduce the redemption one bit.

He died because he was begging for it, not because of the priests. The hands of then current priests were tied, there was nothing they could do. He wanted to die, he needed to die - so people would be free of religion - that's what he got and that was the reason.

  • @unitasetmagus Are you ok?

  • @csnowutube I am ok, thank you, but YOU seem to be confused ?

Have you read the bible ? Can you refute anything i have said or you just disagree with me ?

Also, i might have some sleep deprivation a little so if you would point out what is it you have hard time to understand, i'll come back tomorrow and try to explain it better.

  • @unitasetmagus OK, thanks. I read several of your comments and they seemed to be written by different people. You do not claim to be a Christian, so , I will not trouble you anymore. thanks.

  • @csnowutube Why would i be a christian ? I think i said "they" considering christians already in the first post of mine. Anyway, you're welcome. ;)

  • @unitasetmagus The new contract is a command for you to please God by loving and obeying Jesus (instead of God directly as in the OT). This is still a command to obedience with a reward of continued worship and obedience upon your death and a penalty of infinite punishment for disobedience. What is the difference between that and Nazism (obedience to the state with a promise of continued obedience to God after you die and genocide for the disobedient)?

  • @drfoxcourt Well, the command is to be obedient to god and to god alone and NOT to human authorities. Sure, there is this one verse that contradicts this, but that is corruption and added later. Because, if you think about why early christians were executed by hordes, was exactly because they didn't obey the authorities.

Things have changed since then and atheists are the ones being persecuted for not worshipping false gods nowadays sadly.

  • @unitasetmagus Early Christianity was still obedient to an authority. Christianity's rise is one religion in conflict with another (Roman), and with no reality-based reason to be in conflict. The moment Christianity gains any staying power, it turns tyrannical. That cannot be said for secularism.

Atheism holds no more allure for me than religion ever did. It is secularism that is the great achievement. The removal of religion from governance and vice versa frees us further from inhumanity.

  • @drfoxcourt There were many christianities, the most organised and aggressive survived and flourished and became tyrannical that they were not originally. Jesus was a secularist and anti religion and if you would know more about him and what he actually taught then you would know what christianity used to be. The reason they were killed was because of their DISOBEDIENCE - they were not allowed to rebel but they could protest and DISOBEY - what they also did. Learn your history please.

  • @unitasetmagus Sorry friend, but we do not actually know what Jesus taught. We have third hand knowledge at best. If we accept that the writings of the Gospels are accurate *(something I am not willing to do), Jesus declares that he is come to affirm the old commandments with a sword. Furthermore we can thank Jesus (or his followers) for the concept of hell. What a nice guy to tell people that disobedience to whatever he tells us is true results in eternal torture. Not even Judaism was so cruel.

  • @drfoxcourt The writings of the gospels are not all accurate. But it's possible to single out at least most contradictions and texts that has been added later.

He declared that he has "come to FULFIL the law and prophets" (not to "affirm"). The fulfilment meant total abrogation and everything he taught was the opposite to the old crap.

And Jesus taught that hell (lake of fire) was "only for Satan and his angels". So, where do you get all your bible "knowledge" (and i'm not even a christian)?

  • @unitasetmagus Tbh muslims are probably just as bad, if not worse, but my knowledge of Islam is severely limited so I kept it to christianity.

  • Awesome! Really! Just awesome!

  • GOD JUST GOT GODWIN'D

    Seriously though, awesome video.

  • @TacticOgre Lol. I honestly think that the actions of the people and deities in the bible far exceed that of the nazi manifesto. Throw in the results of said manifesto and it gets a little less even... until you remember the crusades, the dark ages, and the witch hunts.
