  • so beautiful and relaxing,i just love it and thank god i was born in the 70's and such great music when life was so much better.

  • RON PAUL 2012

  • Another beaut of a timeless tune! Sensational group, with the flowing voice, and delicate, superbly delivered smooth tune!

  • Live... oh yeah beutiful!!

  • PRECIOSO TEMA DE 1970 DE ML Y DE TODOSL OS ROMANTICOS BAILARINES.-

  • @adamf34 So you call Bread a douchebag band, from one who never entered puberty you can talk! You can go back to being pointless in your miserable life

  • One of the most beautiful songs ever written.

  • I love the way it make me feel relax and the voice is soothing to my ears

  • Is´nt really a 1970-version from american television of this beautiful song.

  • If I could have seen them in concert my life would have been complete!

  • I love this song

  • it reminds me of summers when i was small .. you shut your eyes you can almost feel like you are there again

  • @sharonmaclean47 I remember hearing this album growing up ... reminds me of my childhood also.. good times the 70's

  • a warm summer night a slight breeze a bottle of wine and this song, you will be taken to another world.3.00 mins of heaven.

  • nena me agradaria hacerlo contigo amor que hermoza cancion para escuchar acompañado por la noche despacio y muy lento al oido susurando con suavidad

casi murmullo que bien interpreta david gates a que dama le gustaria expirimetar esta experiencia

  • We danced to this at the high school prom back in 1977! They played it 5 times that night! (Knights in White Satin was also played a bunch!)

  • 2011, im 19 years old but i really like this song,, i started loving this song when my grandma used to listen on it in a tape, almost everyday :D

  • Ha....to KNOW that artists THEN ...KNEW how to write/produce/perform their music ...and do a fantastic job at it. Didn't have the computer and other crap to make it sound better on an album. It sounded great anyway. REAL TALENT!!!! TY to all the great artists who actually worked at this great music. Take note young 'uns. To be great you HAVE to work at it. Haven't you heard of ''practice practice practice". I did....when I started to learn instruments when I was a kid. Still know how and can.

  • I remember growing up in tennessee and going to the park playing baseball on friday nights listening to this so peaceful but so sad thinking about it

  • To the 41 people who registered a dislike to this classic song by an incredible band.

I say this" you are living proof that a village somewhere is missing 41 IDIOTS"

  • @whoosh1965 We're actually living proof that there are still people with decent taste in music. To associate the words classic and incredible with this douchebag and his band is a sacrilege.

  • This is a real man. You NEED to be secure with your manhood in order to sing THAT high and sweet in public. This is some incredibly beautiful stuff, I didn't know they sounded JUST like the album when playing live.

  • when songs were songs sung by real singers green thumbs up!!!!!!

  • Incredible live!

  • this song makes the panties come rite off!!!

  • david gates a master of his trade dont think we will ever see his like again

  • soooooo beautiful song. love it

  • I don't listen much to mellow rock. But Bread were the masters of it.

  • @Jefgg one of them without doubt

  • I love the description. Simply "Music"

  • I miss these songs

  • this bread is Braed compared to whats on the braed today

  • there are 37 people here who can't understand the difference between noise and good sound.

  • Proud Daddy, I walked the same streets as you. I was a young boy when this song came out. There was something very different about those days in the early 70's. An air of pureness existed, that to this day, I can't recapture. But this song helps.

  • @miyan12 Absolutely!

  • does anyone know the name of the lead guitarist?

  • I agree with proudaddy...... This Song Brings back so many wonderful Memories from days gone by ... :) Glad I can still hear them on youtube

  • i wish, i am living in this era of music..where music is just so good..

  • I remember when this song came out. It was the summer between my 7th and 8th grade years. I had just learned to play bar chords well enough and learned this song. I still can't carry a tune, even if it was in a bucket, but I sure do like singing to this song. For some reason the girls seemed to like it and it did help "break the ice" so to speak. ;)

  • PROUDADDY1980 that's an awesome description of a time so beautiful in your life. Dreams never die!

  • @udestu Thanks!

  • @udestu Thats right my friend!

  • I WAS REMINDED OF THIS SONG BY SOMEONE SPECIAL WHO SUNG THE FIRST FEW VERSES..

  • TEX, you were right GREAT BAND

  • pretty crystal clear voice for live I have to say. No auto tuner needed.

  • You don't know me well ..only time will tell OMG.... so just turn off the lights

    Romantic!!!

  • I want to make it with ewe

  • One of the most beautiful and enduring love songs ever released on vinyl.

I pray that Bread will tour Australia one day..during my lifetime. Their music have a way of lifting my spirit. There is a feeling of wonderment about music like this. Thank you for sharing this with us.

  • This song makes me wanna come! Just beautiful man, beautiful!!! I really dig this stuff makes me wanna roll one up too! Teehee! Groovy stuff though, makes me wanna do some nitrous too!

  • I couldn't have put it any better than proud daddy1980. I had the same hopes etc in England.

  • I'm so glad I was a teen in the 70s...and so my adolescence was filled with great songs that, when I listen to them now, remind me just how unlucky this current generation is that they're bombarded with angry music.

  • É uma pena que nos dias de hoje a mídia não dê valor a musicas de bom gosto como essa. Somos obrigados a ouvir verdadeiras drogas fabricadas por medíocres.

  • this is history my friends.let our kids listen too.the world would be far better

  • I love this so, it's so romantic.. I wish the music was clearer and not muffled though..

  • This song is sappy and cheesy as fuck, but you can't argue it's melodically fantastic

  • Great singer. Beautiful song.

  • so relaxing

  • yup. i love this band. timeless music.

  • It seems like yesterday that this song came out When I was still a young man walking the streets of Brooklyn,NY. My heart, filled with dreams of love and the hope of better tomorrows. Tunes like these makes me reminisce about those golden years and take me back to that magic time when all you see is a rainbow and expect to find a pot of gold on the other side.

  • @proudaddy1980 Exactly the same for me- except it was London! :)

  • @proudaddy1980 Your comment brought tears to my eyes, I totally agree.

  • @athenaspike Thanks for your kind comment. I share that feeling 100%. Thumbs up to fvalenciat for this cool upload!!

  • @proudaddy1980 Hear, hear!!!

  • @proudaddy1980 your words are eloquent man. you speak with the heart of a poet. songs like this make me feel the same way about those golden years! i only hope that someday, i find the right girl and become a proud papa too!

  • @mrScififan2 You will my man. Just look for her in the right places and make sure you both have the same principles, chemistry and love for one another. Peace

  • @proudaddy1980 Diddo...I total remember those awesome times. Man I miss this music...it was the BEST! Peace friend.

  • @vm24seven365 Peace Brother.

  • @proudaddy1980 Aptly worded sir. You captured what was in the hearts and minds of many young people in the early seventies. kone

  • @konedog55 Thank you my friend!

  • back,

  • not,nice,song,about,us

  • GREAT guitar solo by Jimmy!!

  • Great song..

  • Bread, what a name for such an exquisite musical group. "Bread-Make it with you"..

Uh?. The songs somehow did not justify the group's name..

    -Love their melodies and words.

  • Bad video but great verses that dreaming is not. " You have to believe", according

to the new slogan for "Emitt Rhodes" The One Man Beatles, There's Something

    about Emittt Rhodes.

  • This song was 40 years ago no.8 in the world charts

  • This song was 40 years ago no.3 in the world charts

  • CLASICOS QUE VIVIRAN EN MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII PARA SIEMPRE LOS AMO BREAD

  • This song was 40 years ago no.3 in the world charts

  • Know what I think of when I hear this song ? A fourteen year old girl, nervous as hell, because she was starting Junior High School...9th grade. This song was playing on the radio as she was getting dressed and fighting with her hair. Yep, that was me.

  • @CurlyHairChris . hey nice memory, nice story. cute

  • The greatest groups/musicians sound better live...I love the 70's...great melodies, awesome lyrics and great voices. Simple as they may have been, songs had meaning...the kind that give you shivers and make the hair stand on end.

  • Sadly, if you wrote and sang a song like this to a woman under about 50 years old today, she'd think you were completely gay and would mercilessly make fun of you. Just being real. Girls today love rap and grunge music not stuff like this.

  • @mdonnelly1971 Maybe, but the world is a sadder place for it.

  • @mdonnelly1971 i agree man

  • Josh Groban is singing songs like this Broken Vow, You Raise Me Up, To Where You Are and so on and women are going insane at his concerts! And they are not all over 50 by a long shot! And all these artists making cover albums of old songs, motown, ballads that are selling millions of copies (not all old ladies). Women have and always will like romantic love songs and ballads!

  • David Gates is an Angel.

  • This song was 40 years ago no.2 in the world charts

  • I love this song........but it makes me sooooooo........sad, it sometimes makes me cry ....for some reason, and I don't know why it makes me think of my deceased father.............I sure miss him.

  • This song was 40 years ago no.5 in the world charts

  • David Gates......NUFF SAID!!

  • Lol. Evokes memories too.

Heard the same song also on the sidewalks of Roxas Blvd right beside some dude selling roasted peanuts and other knick-knacks, on the place before they turned it into Baywalk. Probably mid-late '90s.

  • im at the pool its 19something and im soo happy

  • No reunion--James Griffin and Mike Botts both passed away in 2005...RIP

  • I would absolutely love if BREAD ever did a reunion tour. I know at least one, maybe a few of the original members have passed away. I remember a PEOPLE magazine years ago about "Where are they now........." which shows GATES living on a beautiful farm somewhere raising horses. Come on DAVID, spear head a REUNION TOUR. Even if only ONE CONCERT. Make it a really good quality venue. Using the updated instruments, quality musicians. A company to record a DVD and a worldwide release!

  • Bread is the ultimate 70's band!

  • This song is wonderful, my mother used to play this song on the weekends, i can clearly remember playing with my toys with my brother and listening to the sounds of Bread echo throughout the house. Later, my mother would play this song as she beat us with a belt until we vomited. Ahh to be young again.....
