I miss this show so much. A feeling of nostalgic comes whenever I see this. The background music, the transformation and the famous "In the name of the moon, I'll shall punish you" quote. So many memories I could just cry. Q_Q. How I miss the '90's. Awesome times when technology wasn't all that and it was just good television, family quality and coloring instead of using an iPad or DVR.

Like if you wish it came back on television for old times sake.

This is my favorite transformation- I'm just an original person. The back ground music is beyond amazing.

The American transformation theme is beyond compare. I was disappointed to hear something different in the original anime. The music was one of those cornerstone moments, even though Dic (or whoever managed this version) flopped up a decent anime.

@pokupokupoku The music itself isn't bad, it was one of the ok parts of the dub. It's just all the edits and such that turned me off to the English dub nowadays (of course as a kid I didn't care and loved it anyway)

@AoiYukinoMisharu Yeah, I know what you mean. If they hadn't edited and cut out so much of the show, the dub would have been AMAZING imo. I adore the music and don't even mind the cheesy voice acting. It's just a shame they felt the need to make it more for 'kids' because I genuinely like the dub for what it is, but think it could have been so much more.

For some reason the background music has stuck in my head since childhood which is strange because I only ever watched about 3 or 4 episodes of Sailor Moon. I was really more of a Gundam/Outlaw Star kid.

I love this music! <3 I think DiC did a great job with the background music, they just needed more, they replayed the same ones all the time. The original Japanese background was good too, don't get me wrong.

Every time I watch this I feel so nostalgic. When I started to rewatch it about a year ago and I heard the transformation song for the first time in what, 7 years? I'm pretty sure it brought tears to my eyes because of all the memories it brought back with them.

I loved the transformations as a kid, even though it was the same sequence played over and over again. I even tried to imitate Sailor Moon's movements as she was transforming. Those were some good times on Saturday mornings.

MYGOD this brings back great memories of me rushing home to watch this. I loved Sailor Moon and still do! It's a smae that they didn't continue it, but then again I'm glad because they just don't make anime's like this anymore. The 90's was the best year in my opinion :))

sailor moon was all but gutted in the dub, cut down from an hour to 30 minutes due to all the cut material, but I like the english transformation music better all the same.

I used to pray at night that sailor moon would come to real life. anyway, Im not sure if they played this music in the background for sailor moons transformation in the jap version... but if theres anything cartoon network did right in dubbing its keeping this piece of music.
