Thanks for the tip on making the flip back. I used that technique on a heat safe synthetic lace wig and It worked wonderfully. I don't have a fancy curler, so I misted the hair with water as I curled and my inexpensive curling wand was able to make beautiful curls and flip backs!!!!

And for the average woman who wears a lacefront, the hairline is usually done by a machine, and not hand sewn like the more expensive models. So in order to make it look natural, some women pull out a lil of their edges and lay it over the hairline, because nobody has that perfect "Superman" hairline. That's why creative tweaking is needed when you work on a budget. You're not combing half your hair over the wig, just a lil baby hair.

When beyonce and tyra who wear them all the time don't do it either..soooo...if that's what u do then fine..but at the same time..she is wearing it how she chooses to wear it and regardless if it's hand sewn or machine sewn (which I'm assuming u mean hand tied) she didn't create it the wig company did.

That's like buying some jeans in your size, but the butt part is too loose, and you don't tailor it cuz the designer made it that way.

Con't: thought that the stocking cap may be the culprit. I understand she's trying to nurse her hair back to health but she may have to expose just a small amount of hair to make the lace fronts look a little more natural.
I'm a new subscriber but not a new follower. I simply adore Ateyaaa! I think the problem with her application of the lace front wigs is the stocking cap underneath. I think she pulls the stocking cap over her hairline as well as close to her ears. Therefore, when she puts the wig on and places the combs under the stocking cap, the wig is inadvertently placed too far down. @brownnbubblie I see everyone keeps mentioning April and how she does her wigs. I think the difference is Ateya is not wearing her wigs out. She's only doing a review. When April does her wigs, that's the hair she's actually wearing for the the next couple of days or the hair she's wearing for her outing for that day. honestly i like the way you work the wig you have done a fabulous job working the curls into a simple wig as far as the hairline which seems to be the topic of almost all your lace front wig videos i really have sat and tried to firgure it out wether it's the cut of the lace or if your natural hair line is just perfect like that or maybe it's the cap you have on underneath needs to be pushed back a little to tell you the truth i dont care i am still gonna watch your videos because your Fabulous!

@luvnmyneyo There is a very big difference in giving an opinion and hating on someone. The entire purpose of lace front wig is to provide the illusion that the hair is growing out the scalp but the hair line on this wig is not a very good one. The styling is pretty though.

@Nikki30263 The purpose of a wig is to make it look natural. And for the average woman who wears a lacefront, the hairline is usually done by a machine, and not hand sewn like the more expensive models. So in order to make it look natural, some women pull out a lil of their edges and lay it over the hairline, because nobody has that perfect "Superman" hairline. That's why creative tweaking is needed when you work on a budget. You're not combing half your hair over the wig, just a lil baby hair.

When beyonce and tyra who wear them all the time don't do it either..soooo...if that's what u do then fine..but at the same time..she is wearing it how she chooses to wear it and regardless if it's hand sewn or machine sewn (which I'm assuming u mean hand tied) she didn't create it the wig company did.

Of course there's no need for those two women to do that, that WOULD defeat the purpose. Their wigs are made perfectly for THEIR heads. These wigs AIN'T customized, so you tweak it to fit YOU. That's like buying some jeans in your size, but the butt part is too loose, and you don't tailor it cuz the designer made it that way.

I'm a new subscriber but not a new follower. I simply adore Ateyaaa! I think the problem with her application of the lace front wigs is the stocking cap underneath. I think she pulls the stocking cap over her hairline as well as close to her ears. Therefore, when she puts the wig on and places the combs under the stocking cap, the wig is inadvertently placed too far down. I do think she reads and takes the advice or her subscribers, contrary to popular belief, but I don't think she ever really

If she is tired then she should restrict comments or she can approve what she wants viewed by the public, but then her business would not make money. When you have a business you should be in the business of growing. We all know that lace fronts come with this type of hair line because everyones hairline is differnt. It would not hurt her to do some videos showing more realistic hairline.

When April does her wigs, that's the hair she's actually wearing for the the next couple of days or the hair she's wearing for her outing for that day. (just a thought) I think that may be why she doesn't work hard at making it look realistic.

So I have come to this conclusion, on camera you are purposely placing your lace front wrong.
