What kind of clear coat did you use to make your tail shine like that?

@zedude02 If you are refering to the tail lights I, I took them to "flip custom tails" he tints these things RIGHT, wet sands them and polishes them!! As the paint, this is the original paint; I just wash her with Meguier's DEEP CRYSTAL® CAR WASH, during the night time ONLY. I NEVER wash this machine in the daylight!! NEVER waxed it as well! Its also how I dry her. I might upload a step by step process, this car is 4 years old and it looks pretty much the same! peace,...

What I did with my monte is took the chevy symbol off the front and threw an SS on there made such a difference and looks 10 times better

@KzonKzon Yeah it does look sexy that way, but I took of EVERYTHING except the bowties on the front and rear!! I tried this in order to keep people guessing!! haha!! See when people don't see the "SS's" they think they can try you, oh but to their suprise!! LoL!!

@alloutkx450 Thanks man!!!! I actually had "Flip" tint these, I had to dismount the tails and ship em to him though! He does a very excellent job. Some people get the ones from ebay where you stick or clamp them on but I sure they won't look as good as these. I'll shoot you an email for further details!! peace,..

if those are 18s you should definitely get 20s, if your suspension allows it bro, because you got it lowered, but 20s or 19s probably be better looking than 18s, i got a Dale Jr on 19s and thinking about getting 20s (all black like yours) and getting coil overs___Nicest Monte Ive seen on you tube, good job bro finally somebody got it right.

Very nice. Do you have exhaust as well or just the intake? At IDLE it sounds like a Flowmaster but take off it was relatively quiet but I don't think JUST intake would give you that nice of an idle.

I've seen Flips taillights. Not 100% sure of his procedures but I did my own when I painted my Monte. Its simple really. Clean up good, scuff them up with a scuff pad or 400-600 sandpaper. Mix up some black urethane basecoat with clear basecoat (binder)/ or clearcoat where its "smoke" color and spray it on to the desired shade. Generally if mixed right, two coats is perfect. Then clearcoat the entire light for durability and shine.

Ebay, I hate to say it, but they kind of sort of suck! LOL!! These halos do not last long and they fog up with ease.... :/ maybe if you picked them up from a bonefide website like (K2 Motor)

I never stated in my captions, title, etc, that this car is 100% TOTALLY blacked out. Once you have tinted/blacked out features on a vehicle,......its blacked out.

I took these Lights to "Flip" he does an excellent job in tinting tails for ya! :) Go to yahoo & type in: "flip's custom tails and more" It should be the 1st result. Its like a forum that shows all this man's work! He is awesome! Its around $60 + S&H to do all the tinting: tails 3rd brake light & reverse lights. He uses a spray but it's NOT the VHT spray that everyone else uses. Its something else,..he'll never tell ;) Also the reverse lights are "sprayed" much darker. They look totally wicked!
