Why you may be right in your response, we must remember that just because we are saved, that does not mean we do not sin. Whether Ted Haggard is a true believer or not I don't know and will not judge, but we must always remember that salvation is of Jesus Christ and His doings, not ours. While what Haggard did was sinful and wrong, The Word states in 1 John 1:12 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us ours sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness". We're sinners!
If you are saved, then you will fall out of fellowship with the Lord yet you will still be saved(it's His righteousness, not ours). Why would you not want to confess your sin? Do you think He doesn't know already? He is most merciful in while we sin, He forgives us because he is such. That doesn't mean that we sin because of this mercy as some people believe that since we are forgiven, it is a license to sin.

Why you may be right in your response, we must remember that just because we are saved, that does not mean we do not sin. Whether Ted Haggard is a true believer or not I don't know and will not judge, but we must always remember that salvation is of Jesus Christ and His doings, not ours. While what Haggard did was sinful and wrong, The Word states in 1 John 1:12 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us ours sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness". We're sinners!

If you are saved, then you will fall out of fellowship with the Lord yet you will still be saved(it's His righteousness, not ours). Why would you not want to confess your sin? Do you think He doesn't know already? He is most merciful in while we sin, He forgives us because he is such. That doesn't mean that we sin because of this mercy as some people believe that since we are forgiven, it is a license to sin.

I wanna see Jesus all flying around for a bit...Word in my church is that he puts on a little airshow before the reckoning. He'll do some barrell rolls and some tricky stunt flying. High speed low-level fly by's all that stuff.

Christians are insane. If Eve hadn't convinced Adam to eat that apple, they and everyone else would still be alive today? Death is necessary. If nobody dies, the Earth would be overpopulated very quickly. I suppose God would just have had Noah build a spaceship instead of an ark to move people and animals to planets in other galaxies. These planets capable of sustaining life would just happen to be uninhabited for us. Christianity wouldn't exist since Jesus wouldn't have had to die for our sins.

I believe you are twisting the scriptures to your liking. Your are correct when you say the God is sovereign, He is but you cannot say that it is His will that man would sin as His word clearly states that He has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with committing of sin. God is wholey sovereign and allows man free will and it was man's free will which introduced sin. Did God know man was going to sin?...Yes absolutely. Does God know if you are going to be saved? Absolutely, because He is sovereign.

God IS IN CONTROL of everything, but that does not mean that everything happens because it is the will of God. God is "long-suffering not willing that any should perish", but that doesn't mean that He's going to save everyone does it? If I choose to walk out of my office right now and beat the living daylights out of the next person who walk's by, is that God's will? Did God make me do it? NO, that ludicrous. God know's whether I'll do it or not but that doesn't mean he condones it!
