  • i reall like his tidy cats scoop mix

  • Please tell me wich rod is in your hend??

    Thanks

  • Awesome tips. Thank you.

  • Don't worry about the nerves, you did a great job. And the ending spot on water and habitat really rings true in my experience. I also fish with an insect net to catch grassshoppers next to straems out west.

  • who wastes thier time disliking a video like this?

  • whats the best bait on the surf?

  • @FishOnFishing it depends, for stripers, live clam, fresh bunker, or if you can find a blitz, use live bunker that are washing up

  • @madfisherman96 thanks

  • @FishOnFishing no prob

  • are those sand spikes homemade ?

  • is that a tsunami bay rod?

    11 or 12 foot?

  • why dont you use right-hand wind fixed-spool reel, as you Americans use

    right hand wind multipliers????????????????????????????????

  • I do like the guy though, he sounds like he gets em. Like he said, get braided line, and start catching more fish. It's funny to me that all my uncles swore on mono for years while i used braid and when they use it once, braid for life [read into the differences in mono and braid before you switch, setting your drag and setting hooks are different

  • The spike looks good on the bottom, but the design is a little flawed. The reason a sand-spike shouldn't braced above the reel seet is it creates a point where the pressure on the rod is unevenly distributed. Most rods are designed to bend though out the length of the rod. strapping the spike to the rod above the reel seat would prevent the rod from achieving it's goal, as a shock absorber to the fish.

  • A pole a.k.a cane pole is made of bamboo (now there are graphite and fiberglass models)

A rod in my mind is characterized by 1) having guides 2) having a reel seat)

Lol, you've been looking for that rod and don't know what it is? Might wanna take up golf... But, if your referring to a surf-style rod i would reccomend starting off w/ a Cabela's Salt Striker combo, found on their website. It won't break the bank, and it won't break on the bank!

  • W#hat is the difference in a "pole" and a fishing rod?

  • Thanks Ed! Very helpful!

  • Dont be nervous! good video. Im going for striper at Raritan Bay in a bit so I'm trying to refresh a bit since last year ;D

  • seriously what setup do you got there. please reply to this cause i gotta know soon.

  • what pole is that. i've been lookin' for that one.

  • Your a true fisherman!!!I too carry a lot of gear when I'm out fishing for stripers..Those are the best sand spike I've ever seen, where can I get some?

  • cool man. part 2?
