Can you make out the lines that seem to be forming the shape of a 5 S or perhaps lines of a upside down 2 type shape inside on top of the white inside the ring? Then when you got even closer it seems to be like a E on its side? It was like their was some form of chemical emulsion effect taking place Great capture of the Sundog I also found it of interest what was above that sun that you zoomed in on Great video

i've seen sun-dogs all of my life, have known what they are all of my life -- it's not a sun-dog; it's something that skiers & snow-boarders love seeing (among others, obviously) --- a sun-dog is much more spectacular than that - & a different optical effect.... this is just an effect of the cloud opening up...
