Well you know as well as I do, that Kerry displayed some of the best football ever seen that day against the dubs. Kerry did not play near as good against Meath in the semi-final and they still won. Regardless if it was a 2 point win in the end, any neutral watching that game could easily see throughout the match that Meath were definitely not going to win that day. As a A student in History in both the inter & eaving and of Irish History in big school (thats college),I know well of our history and going back to Navan (where many Dub's have moved to,much to the towns demise) was not what happened. Its complicated, but it was not the Dubs that instigated or lead the Guerrilla war that undermined the occupier,it was men from the Country or Hicks as you call us,too many Dubs were GMen/RIC so we had to go up and sort them out,although there were a few good men.

I was satin premium just by the hill. The meath fans being escorted were taunting the hill and were just as bad as the retards throwing things. a lot of the hill is full of knackers who have no interest in gaa an jus go for the piss-up.i wouldnt judge dublin by it.you realise there were another 50,000 sat elsewhere

i was one of the meath fans being escorted away at halftime. how would we have started a riot? the only reason we were moved in the first place is because we were being pelted with missiles and the gardai said we were being moved to another part of the stadium for our own safety.
everyone of us was hit with at least three or four things when we were walking in front of the hill but the amount of missiles that dropped short and hit your own fans was unreal

There must have been at least 50/60 bottles thrown at ye. But you're right, a lot of stuff was thrown from the very back of the hill and basically just hit other dublin fans.
