  • what was your new winding method, and how did u get the wheels to move

  • wow i can enjoy getting an a in science and enjoy a remake of my fav tv show

  • lol

  • Oh! and also... is there anything I could do to make it go even further?

  • Your project is really well done!

Thanks to your video, it inspired me to make one just like this one for a project/race in science class, and I was wondering... what is it about the mechanism that makes the car go so far?

Your response would be deeply appreciated! :)

  • car part is cool... rest of it is totally lame

  • how did u get the wheels to spin after the rbber band has stoped

i need to kno for my project

    plz reply

  • @jreyesonline what we did is we put a small nail into the wooden dowel for the wheels. we had the rubber band attached to the top dowel which did not spin. that connection was permanent. the rubber band went from that top dowel to the wheel dowel (around the nail) and the wheel was wound up

  • Shudda wrapped some sorta rubber around the wheels so it can grip better

  • what was the soda for?

  • it was a constraint set by the project/competition, just added weight

  • stretching the bant to the rear axel is loosing loads or power. add a couple together so that no energy is lost, making a band powered car for uni......all laser cat and carbon

  • Good winding method, allowing it to coast.

  • need better wheels. if u had better wheels it would go a lot farther. too much traction with those wheels. try using something with less friction

  • the rubber bands actually did not make much traction.. but enough to make it work, we were limited to using those types of wheels, w/out rubber bands around them they slipped and the car went no hardly where

  • really shitty movie.

  • wow u guys spend ur time verrrry wisely fuuuun not

  • at my school we have rubber band cars that can go 100 m +

  • it all depends on the restrictions of materials and the size dimensions...

  • how did you get the propulsion system in the end to work? and how did you get the front wheel drive and the back wheel drive working together?

    great car btw!

  • i had a nail sticking out of the axel, i then had the rubberband loop around that nail and then i wound the axel.

to get both the front wheel and back wheel drive working together just wind them at the same time.

video isnt great quality, but if you look carefully at close-in parts im sure you can figure it out.

  • one more time is my favorite song! go daft punk!

  • WTF a waste of my fuckin time

  • watching this video made me realize how bad my car/ car video is.
