  • I love the gun fire and sirens at the end, I forgot about that part. LMAO

  • Damn, I have not listened to this album in fucking ages...

  • fav part 5:35 to 6:04 *JIZZ*

  • this song makes me want to eat the beads that are in beef jerky

  • HAIL SATAN! ;)

  • @Sopu90 tak się skałada ze ten kawałek nie ma nic wspónego z satanizmem moronie. i nie bede pisał tego komenta po angielsku :D

  • FUCKIN' EPIC

  • This song was in Hellboy! It's even in the trailer. Just like Progenies.

  • i describe the song with only one word.: EPIC

  • your mom and i do stardust to this everyday, WEIRD!

  • The intro was featured in the trailer for the movie "Stardust"

  • reminds me of the necrons of warhammer 40k lol

  • @beastsomataw necrons are kewl lol

  • @OsakaKirby xDD

  • who composed this? the keyboarder of Dimmu Borgir?

  • @dankwarth yes. I think he composed most of the best Dimmu songs in the past. Shagrath is another favorite of mine in composing.

  • i love this fucking song

  • I think that "Death Cult Armageddon" is the best album of Dimmu Borgir

(sorry, my english is so bad)

  • @IsabelRosenrot You're doing fine :-)

  • tripped out when i heard this in the first harry potter haha

    its still badass though

  • @yellowsubmarine601 When was this in Harry Potter?

  • wickedly sick!

  • Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet :P

  • the best song and melody heard so far!

  • CO TU DUŻO MÓWIĆ. BOSKIE PO PROSTU........

  • Enthroned darkness rapes \m/

  • "fucking shit! DB fuck off!!" You're a fucking moron, if you don't like them then why would you come onto youtube and listen to them? They are one of the greatest black metal bands there is..... EVER.

  • Dimmu are the ones that got me interested in metal.

  • fucking shit! DB fuck off!!

  • is due to the epic orchestra and style of music that got me hooked to black metal

  • So supersomonerandom you would interpet this song as having a "pick your battles" type message within the lyrics? As well as a tribute the brutal potential our species' history has?

  • They have Shagrath as a vocalist and the lyrics and music fitting together is like beautiful poetry.

  • I love the orchestra parts in this CD. This is definitely the next Dimmu Borgir CD I'm getting (I'm getting them out of order XD I got In Sorte Diaboli first :P).

  • @xxxdeadgirl587xxx

In metal the rule usually is: the older, the better :P

  • @NordwolfBE - Yes, in this case I definitely agree. :/

  • good intro but the singing is like a fart from my grandma :/

  • @SlowmotionDim Shagrath is one of the best vocalist. You just dont understand black metal.

  • thumb me up if this is the best symphony clip put into a metal song EVARR! seriously this song makes my insides jingle

  • haven't listened to this in literal years.

Not really my genre, BUT I whistle this intro pretty much every day so yeah it's quite lovely

  • The best Symphonic Black Metal song EVER it;s just fucking great. The beginning is amazing like whole song. Best song from DCA

  • 0:01-1:50 its like in running and jumping, doing flips in the air as i run away from a group off people chasing me

1:51-7:06 its like you've just fallen down a shaft, sliding down into the pits of hell. and then you begin your journey on trying to find your way out of hell as a couple demons try to chase you down. you somehow escape and only a few asend with you.

7:07-8:41 you get knocked out just as you almost reach a church (or something) and you lay there and watch disaster consume the land

  • the begining of this song sounds like a star wars porno!!! hahahaha

  • @koonzy87 Hahaha. Very funny.

  • geil

  • @dotmatrixhero101 cker :)

  • The beginning of the song I what I like the most! n_n

  • Thee orchestra has an amazing trombone player.

    I wish I could be him -.-

  • lol at the end "Heil Hitler". They sound like zombies. Nazi zombies, wouldn't that be cool in a shooter? Oh wait..

  • @H0s0n well this song is also about the evil the nazis spread

  • @H0s0n they say hail SATAN not hail hitler

  • @BlackMetalWorld

    It calls heil!! ;-)

  • I'm going to totally make a badass movie with this song in it. killing monsters as i run away from someone who is trying to kill me. totally awesome.

    -Ghouly-

  • I feel kind of bad for listening to satanist music... oh well!

  • hmm.. i know that the orchestral part of this song is not from dimmu borgir.. so could anyone tell me what's the name of it and who directs it? the name of the orchestra too please ^^ or just give me anything!!

  • @lambovsatan225 The arranger is Gaute Storås, the orchestra is the Prague Philharmonic, under the direction of Adam Klemens.

  • @busted4life601 thank you very much, but.. could you tell me where did they took the piece from? because i heard it on the movie Stardust and well.. i don't think the makers of Stardust got part of the movie's soundtrack from a Black Metal band..

  • @lambovsatan225 That I do not know, I wasn't even aware the piece was used in a movie, sorry I can't help more.

  • @busted4life601 it's okay.. actually i'm not that sure if it WAS used in a movie.. i just wanted to find the orchestral part only..

  • the members of dimmu are antichristian: firm haters of all organized religion galder is the only satanist ex-member vortex is norse pegan and to the ww2 comment thats basically the gist of this entire album is the fall of christianity basically the religious battle supposed to take place at the end of days

  • whoever disliked this needs to go fuck themselves

  • @kathedruid oh no dont say that

  • ever time i listen too dimmu it gives me chills and goosbumps

  • i want that pentagram on a necklace!!!!!!

  • When I hear this, world war 2 comes to my mind

  • @helldweller24 (Month after reply but hey) The whole album always made me think of WW2 !

  • oh i beleive in satan alright.

but im on the other team.

  • I had a friend who said that a PARAMORE PIANO TRIBUTE had more passion than Dimmu Borgir. I told him to fuck off)

    Black metal for life))

  • @DickArmee i would have removed his brain, devoured it, and replaced it with a machine that told him "listen to dimmu and destroy everything" over and over. but thats just me..

  • And 1 of the Hellboy Trailers.

  • 4:40 - 5:10 ! ! ! ];-)

  • i always can see how miserable the human race is. this manages my anger and feeds my mind.

  • "Gentlemen... DESTROY!"

  • Love it ^^^

  • 4:40 - 5:10 is the baeast

  • epic

  • First Part is from "Warcraft2 Battle Net Ediotion"

  • @Immortalgrim Wish they would play it live, that would be great too.

  • the first part makes me think of Tim Burton. Kind of music he would use in his films. I don't know why...

  • Same, it reminds me of a chase scene and then the screen takes us to an overhead view of a beautiful forest, then it goes back to the chase then back to the forest, then Dimmu jumps in and burns the forest down.

Sorry for that long explanantion, Im blown

  • it reminded me of sweeny todd xD lol

  • it was used for the trailer to the film Stardust. :)

  • @Rohan2300 jea i know^^

  • So wait...The first part wasn't originally written by the band? Just adapted?

  • @Rohan2300 and on the first Hellboy-Trailer :)

  • @Rohan2300 I don't think they wrote the orchestration in the beginning.

  • @Rohan2300 holy shit. didnt know that. now i need to look up that movie.

  • @bigpowerfulpeople pretty fun movie, I know I enjoyed it :P

I'm left wondering about the script writer's fetishes though....XD

but hey, it has an airship! and Magic!

  • many of their music sounds like film music. take progenies of the great apocalypse as example.

  • Wow, I was thinking that right before I read your comment. Lol, I love Tim Burton movies.

  • @paintingsina83 totally agree

  • @paintingsina83 well, this song was in a movie. forget what the movie was called though. a fantasy movie. so you are close.

  • Old Dimmu Borgir are Black Symphonic Metal

  • I remember the time when I would scoff at this. I wish I could go back to slap myself silly.

  • Dimmu Borgir is like the Pink Floyd of the back metal

  • dimmu borgir is not black metal.

    but anyway they're fucking awesome!!

    beautiful song!

  • They aren't?

    what are they then?

Agree with the rest tho ;D

  • the first 2 albums were black metal with a bit ambient influences ( stormbläst and For All Tid) after those, they kinda changed. you cant call it black nor death metal. who gives a shit about labels. Dimmu Borgir is awesome. no matter how you want to label it :')

  • @x666Metalhead i dont wanna give labels but i dont want dimmu fell and become like crap(cradle)of filth

  • @NArkWTikA

    how is cradle crap?

please, i'm not having a go at you, i just want to know why. I bet it's Danni tho

  • @x666Metalhead

    Amen.

  • @civic3256 and your eyes my balls...

  • @civic3256 IFKR!! they both suck XD

  • love this

  • lol. i love dimmu borgir :D

  • You are not alone

  • ok srsly what is all this random shit for like 2 minutes at the end. no wonder they didnt put that on the CD o_o

  • @DeliciousPish: lol it is on the CD xD

  • @Pandemonium555 It is the beginning of the next track, I thought.

  • @DeliciousPish lol i think it sounds more epic like that with the transition :P

  • @DeliciousPish That "random shit" at the end is the begining of the song "Unorthodox Manifesto" ;)

  • @DeliciousPish the ending of this song had to be beggining of the next song in the CD... if u listen to whole playlist it sound good

  • @DeliciousPish Aye it's on the CD and its the start of the next track "Unorthadox Manifesto" which is my favorite track on the album and bloody epic!

  • @DeliciousPish Not to perform some necromancy on this post but that random shit is also the intro to the song Unorthodox Manifesto which follows this song on the album.

  • @DeliciousPish I really like that "shit" as you would call it, at the beginning and end. It really shows that Dimmu Borgir is Original and very creative.

  • @DeliciousPish It's the intro for Unorthodox Manifesto...

  • @DeliciousPish It's part of Unorthodox Manifesto.

  • @DeliciousPish The "random shit" are sounds of war and destruction. It's about how the cruelty of human race will end up humans killing each others and destroying the mankind. Dimmu Borgir are nihilistic people. Of course they don't want war, violence or that kind of shit in real life. But they are very nihilistic.

  • @DeliciousPish I thinks it all the "Eradication" going on

  • Comment removed

  • @DeliciousPish people marching saying "heil satan" and war sounds... I think it fits perfectly with the song

  • Fascinating song. Shows that Dimmu Borgir isn't so much Satanic as they are against organized religion, and the way it destroys people.

Which means that they're... Pro life?

  • Pro-life generally carries connotations of being against abortion, but I see what you mean.

  • @TheJunkieBox to say that you would have to understand satanism wich is against organized religion and is not a religion itself...btw HAIL SATAN

  • Ok i am not a christian i am not a satanist or an atheist or agnostic i am a taoist.

  • \m/

  • fucking amazing intro for sure

  • agreed!

  • I like so much 5:36

this is a agressive part on the song

  • Best fucking part in black metals history!

  • Fucking epic! Thanks for posting!

  • nice nice nice goooooooooooooodd

  • This is the most fucking epic song i've heard in a while! xD

  • OMFG I never heard it before, and I love it. Dimmu never fails to amaze me.

  • EPIC.

  • Geigen schneiden sich ins Fleisch!

  • Rammstein passt nicht wirklich zum Thema, oder??^^

Rammstein doesn't really fit to this topic, doesn't it??^^

  • This song is the trailer song of the movie stardust. look it upp stardust trailer.

  • DUDE

    that is amazing

  • Even if the members from this band truly do believe in satan makes no difference i still love their music even if i do not follow the same beliefs.

  • what do you believe in?

    lol

  • If you're a Christian, I'd say you follow the same beliefs.

  • @Envenomed69 Dimmu Borgir isn't really about some tired ass gimmicky Satanic bull. It's a perspective on existence. The "Satanic aspect of the lyrics/themes is more abstract than literal.... Anyway, I think this album is way too underrated for how amazing it is.

  • @Envenomed69 Satan is just an imaginary bogeyman

  • The intro to this song is fucking amazing.

  • @Envenomed69 you said it and im glad

  • I love this song... I'm just starting to get into Dimmu Borgir... but holy shit.

Neither dont I, but I love the music, and i think thats the point.

  • and thats good

  • They are not true worshippers of Lucifer.

  • lol its a fucking song, who gives a shit what imaginary diety they follow. Truly i feel a bit more respect knowing they are not followers. But you can follow all you like, seperates us from you.

  • I love long-during-kick-ass songs, much of the time they put a smaller version on Youtube :// 5/5!
