  • Omg she is so go she should keep riding

  • wow

  • she's a good rider but she should have kept her elbows by her side not straight. I don't see how she could have lost interest in riding

  • u did a very good job but you should try to shorten your reins just a little bit just because you were really leaning far back while cantering,

  • I first rode a horse when I was 4!

  • I <3 cantering and i have only been riding 4 about 5months!

  • What a shame; she had a lot of talent.

  • Ur good with puting ur heels down:) Follow ur dreams!

  • She was good!! I don't understand how it's possible to lose interest in riding!!

  • Why would she stop when she's so good??

  • Wow how could u lose in interest in Horse Riding and she was so good to :(

  • At the start that was a nice slow canter,I wish I was capable of one of them without the horse going into trot :L

  • shes such a good rider, ive been riding 3 years and i cannot ride that good!xx

  • She was told to hold her arms out and let go of the reins to improve her balance and position. As she obviously has a strong grip with her legs there is no reason she shouldn't let go of the reins. It's an advised step when learning to ride.

  • She's really good for her size!!!! You guys need to stop obviously the instructor wouldn't make her drop the reins if she didnt trust the horse! He did not look like he was going anywhere!!

  • How she gave the horse the aids I'll never know. The horse was too big for her, her reins were too long and you should never ever let go of the reins no matter what. Fair play to her but when she falls off it's gonna hurt.

  • @Noelle5767 not really but it depends on the mentality of the horse.

  • omg i LUV horse back riding! it is my life! i wanna own my own horses one day and ride them all day everyday! and my job will be to teach horse lessons! i luv riding them. well dne:)

    -taylor

  • She has some mighty, fine, possion for like a 5 or 6 year old.

  • She has a better seat than me in canter and i'm 11!!! I bounce all over the place like i'm doing rising trot, any advice?

  • Lost interest? How?!

  • too bad she does not ride anymore.i remember that when i was seven all i could do was walk + trot!

  • She's amazing! But I don't think she should let go of the reins and canter the horse that is WAY to big for her! Other wise she did great!

  • She is vey good!ut,still. She should not let go of the reins. The horse now has full control!I don't care if she was super-vised or not,or if the horse wuz used sooo much. That is very dangerous!

  • Very cool,i ride too.

  • @BreyerLover118 I wantd to get lessons since i was 3 or 4 and we didn't hav the money either but things will work out for u if u work for it:) they works out for me 4 years ago my bro got a gf britt who rode and I went to every show with them to help with the horse and last year she offered to train me cause she new I always wanted to ride and loved her horse now he's haf mine

  • She rode better than me at seven than I do at 13!

  • I have to agree she wudda been a good jumper. To the comment below me, falling is all part of the sport:). I have had some pretty nasty falls, after which I couldn't walk because my leg popped in and out of place. But I het right back on cuz I love it:)

  • I find this quite interesting and a small pleasure to watch. I love horses but I wouldn't ride on one not because I think it's cruel (if you think ridding a horse as gentle as you can cruel then I must say you are a little bit too sensitive with the whole degrading argument you might pull out, besides worse things are done to them, riding for the fun of it should be the least of your concerns) but because I don't want to subject myself to falling from one and braking my body.

  • She would've been a good jumper if she continued too bad she lost interest :(

  • she was very good for a seven year old i find it sad she lost interest she would have been great :(

  • @horsegal999 , she actually kinda sucked.... Her canter was horrible. You're supposed to have a very light seat while cantering. Shes just slamming Down on the horses back

  • How could she loose interest??? I love to ride! Oh well. She was very good, also.

  • how could she loose interest? i love horses, i would do anything for lessons but i havent got the money

  • who loses interest?! I find that impossible in my mind.

  • @TwoGirlsOneLife u r soooooooooooo rite :P

  • wow so young back then

  • WOW WOW WOW WOW

  • wow katie is realy realy great

  • its to bad she lost interest. She was such a skilled rider

  • It truly is a shame she lost interest. Very natural rider! Excellent trainer as well. The excersizes she did were splendid...

  • I love the video, very nice!

She rides very well. I subscribe to your channel, you subscribe?

    thanks

  • Did she lose interest because of her first fall????

  • Shes sooo cute, its sad she stoped :( but atleast she has memorys that she can keep in her heart :)

  • it's a shame she lost interest...she's pretty good in there, although she seriously needs to keep her bottom down, but other then that she could have been a great rider. Horseback riding is the best sport in the universe! :)

  • OK i have been riding for 9yrs and i can't do that trotting thing WOW!!!!

  • Nice video - perhaps she'll come back to the sport one day.

  • aw its a shame she should have kept going she is amazing for her age :(

  • The horse looks a little big for her. But that is just my opinion. The riding teacher knew what she was doing when she put the girl on the horse.

  • It looks like you are pulling at his mouth in the first canter try to fix that sensitive ponies in shows will take that as slow down

  • that girl is tiny for that pony!!!!!!!!!

  • @PwincessKissphere really uo ahve to be kididng em shes not at all tlaented she just sturuts around with a differtn guy on her shoulder get plastic surgery adn dies her self orangew not exactly skills me thinks....

  • Wow, what a talented little girl! When I was that age I wasn't that good! <3 it stinks she quit!

  • Great job riding with no hands!

  • amazing

  • i cant believe she lost interest!

Horse Riding is the best sport ever! she has natural talent though :)

  • i cant believe she lost interest!

Horse Riding is the best sport ever!

  • Hands?

  • She is a well good rider I was half way at that age she should've kept it up :) x

  • Thats an awesome horse! Riders ok

  • wow shes better than me, and ive been riding for 7 yrs.. :) i get sick when i canter.. i have to admit i am slightly "scared" of horses but i love riding! i just started beginner jumping last summer but took the winter off.. im dying to ride again.. but this video is great!!

  • i have been riding for 5 years and i have gotten yelled at so many times by many instructors but now i am used to getting criticism she is such a talented rider she would be a great equestrian.

  • She would have been such a good rider. To bad she didnt like it too much.

  • they r being rough on her.... i a guessing she likes riding a lot if she is taking all of this gettin yelled at by her instructer... not to be ean. i am like as old as her:-)

  • That lil girl should be riding a pony

  • It stinks that that she lost interst she has real potiontal. Big horses have big hearts... well most of them!

  • It stinks that she lost intrest she looks like she has real potointion. Plus big horses have big hearts ... well most of them!

  • that horse way to big 4 her.

  • @MaverickIzzy That horse is so not to big for her!! normally biger horses act better than a pony. (not that i don't like ponies, or that all ponies are cheeky) in spain (were i live) 4 year olds ride big horses and i have only ever seen 3 ponies here be4 (pipa, jafa and chico) When i was 9 i rode an andalucian horse and now im gonna bye my very own andalucian!!!

  • This is really done well.

    Im so impressed!

    plus SO ADORABILE!

  • @AD522ify Many riders kiss to get their horse to canter/lope.

  • well i like and dislike this veido she is a gr8t rider and is very good for her age !

but she needs to break her habbits that she has !

  • sad that she lost interest when she's such a good rider

  • awwh shes so cute :)) to bad she lost interest

  • Good girl katie. from Australia.

  • Shes good but lacks the coordination that shw would get when she grows. I wouldve liked to see her go farther, she wouldve been even better.

  • what a gorgeous well behaved pony

  • i lost my interest in riding then a few years later a just had to ride again so i went back to the same place and rode in a lesson then i kept the same time and day and kept riding but i ride in another place now

  • i wonderd if you could tell me where this is

  • what a shame she lost interest, if she was tht good at seven she could be really good by her teens x

  • wow you are great at cantering

  • Thats a beautiful horse! :) your a really good rider too! I ride everyday, and I LOVE IT! you should defintely get back into riding!

  • wait...when she lets go of the reins and like her arms are out...that kinda scares me O_O

  • i love horsesthey are my life if you are looking to know about the wierd name iam on

    my brothers you tube

  • i love that horse!!!!

  • she has got the crop in the wrong hand

  • WOW. she was really talented rider! She looked like she was ment to ride. Too bad she lost interest. She would've been am amazing rider when get got older!

  • Taht good ;)

  • no it can not be dangerous book i ride with no hands all the time

  • Great job... I ride too

  • Why is she not on a lung line when she had her hands out in the air?? That could have been very dangerous!

  • tht riding teacher sounds like my old one! weird. she is a very good rider. i am still working on my dressage at home since i dont have lessons anymore and i fall off alot 100x and counting to be exact so i am off after 15 of riding because of how dangerous the area around my barn is with noise and other things to make a horse scared and trow u off

  • @PwincessKissphere She's just a girl from Minnesota... now 11 years old.

  • @tvhooch At the end is she ridding at Victoria Station??

  • @tvhooch may i ask, y she lost interest in riding...alot of us utubers want to know but EXPECILLY me =)

  • that pony is very lazy

  • She's good

  • Awesum vid check mine out search brinx97 or horse riding

  • Aww that sucks that she doesn't ride btw how long before she got this good?

  • Isn't that horse a bit big for her D:

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWW CUTE HORSE

  • aww thats sad (she doesnt ride anymore) but i take lessons and its soo much fun!

  • @savie9898 Yes it is i love rideing horses im geting better to,it can be hard sum times but it is fun :)

  • She cute and very good ! But try to not fall on the back of your horse when you canter . Good job !

  • @jbiebsismylife wow. that musta been a real bad fall.

  • @jbiebsismylife aww. that stinks. did u brake ur leg or somethin?

  • @PwincessKissphere No, it's not Katie Price... who is Katie Price?!

  • @tvhooch omg u dont know who katie priice is she is FAMOUS

  • @tvhooch Search her on google 8D

  • the persons whip is on the wrong side of the horse is should be in the inside hand not on the outside...

  • Shame she lost interest. Was she ever allowed to go out on trail and just enjoy without instruction? Did the parents ride too? I wish I'd started riding at that age with instruction!

  • @jbiebsismylife ok, thanks for the advice. Its weird to cuz my instructor said that buddy has only freaked out on her twice and the two times ive been on him he freaks out. im actually the only one besides my instructor who rides buddy, because im so good at riding already that she lets me ride him. i hope i get as good as u though! lol ^.^

  • @jbiebsismylife cool. it sux cuz i have to stop riding lessons soon, becuz my ma doesnt want to do it during fall and winter. but im gonna start back up in the spring! i had my 6th riding lesson last wednesday and it was the first time i fell off a horse, my hip hurts so bad right now, but i wasnt scared after i fell, i just got back on! lol ^.^

  • @jbiebsismylife I have gotten crazier! I started lessons over 2 months ago. Its way more fun then I imagined it would be. I ride a gorgeous buckskin quarter horse named butterbut. I dont ride English saddle though, I ride Western. The first lesson I trotted. The fourth lesson I got to ride my instructors 10,000 dollar chestnut quarter horse named Buddy. Buddy is not lazy like Butterbut so I got the chance to canter for the first time.

  • How could this have been made in 2007? She's about 33, so she would of been...

about 28! That's obviously not Katie.

    But good vid :)

  • @charleyheartsmakeup You must be mistaking her for some other Katie. Trust me... this is Katie and she was 7 1/2 years old in this video.

  • @charleyheartsmakeup they are not talking about freaking Katie Price they are talking about a girl that is from minnesota that is 11

  • omg she would hav been a awesome rider. =/ i cant belive she lost intrest i will NEVER loose interest because im a cyco 4 horses lol. o well mabey horses wernt her thing =/

  • amazing she has great talent(; !!

  • i ride horses and i could never think of losing intrest- its the best thing in the world!!!

  • why did she stop? shes such a good rider!! her posture is perfect and shes really in rythm with her horse.

  • why did she stop? shes such a good rider! i must have watched this video so many times.her posture is amazing and you can tell shes really focused =]

  • how big is the horse?

  • @cookiepony probs' about 15 hh

  • Shes soo cute :D It stinks she stopped.. I bet by no they would be doin 3 foot hunters !

  • I go riding 2 i have a horse called whirl wind

  • wow she's excellent to bad she lost intrest

  • How on earth could anyone lose intrest in horseback riding !!!!!! , She's a cute little rider and hope she's gotten back into it ! :)

  • She's a gorgeous rider! But the trainer was wrong...the outside leg is the one closest to the wall/fence..just saying haha

  • No hating or anything but in the first clips She's holding the whip in the wrong hand but other than that she's doing excellent!

  • she looks like she been riding for a long time (in this vid) nd i'm more stable nd balanced than that...nd i've ridden a horse 3 times...

  • shes very good

  • She should carry on becuz she is good. I have a horse 2 called whirl wind

  • Wow if she was still riding shed be really good!

  • that suxs that she lost interest.. i love riding :)

  • Just saying wow!! Great little rider there!! She'll be an even better rider when she's older :) Good Job to her for already jumping those little jumps :)

  • Horses/ponies like that are worth their weight in gold. Every kid should get their 'sea legs' on one like that!!

  • YAY! I had my first riding lessons a few days ago, it was so fun. ^.^ - The horse's name that I rode was Butterbut! lol i go back this friday, my instructor is gonna have me ride bareback so i can learn my muscles.

  • her whip is in the wrong hand

  • wow i learned to canter only a couple months ago! and im 12!

  • why'd she loose interest ? :(

  • She was such a good rider! Sad that when u lose it, u lose it.

She could be really good but that's just how it is :/ But what do i know about that :p i'm one off those horse crazy people who knew way too much about horses before i even sat in a saddle xD My sis wanted to make fun of me and showed me pictures of horse breeds and asked what their name was and i answered right in every one of them xD Thats one of the reasons i got to start riding a year ago!

  • i take it this is english saddle?

  • OMG HOW CAN SHE STOP SHES AMAZING!!!!! :o!!! woaahh!! for me it wil be impossible to loose intrest ! she has such nateral tallent tho! :D

  • SHE IS TO SMALL FOR THAT HORSE : you cant learn properly if the horse doesn't fit you!

  • @kaulitzLL i disagree, the horse is a little too big but shes doing a great job with him. It would be better if she had a horse that was her size but she can still learn on him.

  • is this hard ? i might be doing it. :/

  • I'm sorry, not to sound rude. But who could ever I mean EVER lose interest in horse back riding? I'm horse crazy , yet never ridden a horse in my life, i'm starting lessons soon though. I heard on another video that once you start lessons you become horse crazy, ha, I can only imagine how much more crazier I will feel about horses after I start lessons. But I guess this little good rider didn't feel horse crazy, she started to feel horse lazy!

  • @KaylaAnna1995 At seven and a half, loss of interest is popular. Horse people are either horse people for their entire life, or they grow out of it. It happens all of the time. (Some people just take a break from riding and get back to it months later, too.)

  • @KaylaAnna1995 you are so right as soon as you start riding it gets sooo much better :) there's always something new to do, something else to master. I've been riding for eight years (was it 8? I may have lost count...) and I'm still just as horse crazy as I was when I first started. Have fun at your lessons!

  • @KaylaAnna1995 ikr!? i kept beggin my mom and dad to let me go horseback riding but they keep saying that is too risky... O_O anyways i still want to ride and theyre gonna let me ride soon :D (if i follow some "conditions")

  • @KaylaAnna1995 ive always lvoed horses and always wanted tos tart but my parents to,d em it was too excpensive but i saved money and i started this year and i absoloutly LOVE it.. now i want to be with horses 24/7

  • @KaylaAnna1995 depends on how your mind set is, like some people that i know they will say they "fall in love" but they really dont know what that means, and guess what...... its been 2 years sense she came out to ride. i hate those people

  • @KaylaAnna1995 im so excited for you that you started lessons, yes its true once you start riding you become horse crazy, you commented along time ago so how have the lessons been going?

  • @EarthCanter Great! Im not doing them at the moment though. I had about... 7 lessons. Fell off on my 4th lesson, got back on after but I couldn't walk for 3 days after that. Haha. I went horseback riding on a old friends horse. The ride ended up bad. We were a mile and a half away from the barn and my saddle was sliding to the left when we would trot so I asked my friend to get off her horse to tighten my saddle. Of course... I had to take my foot out to do this. My friend droped her reins...

  • @EarthCanter ... and didnt think her horse knew about it. Well... she did. And that horse went runnin' back to the barn, of course the horses were bff's so my horse wanted to follow. I troted a half mile down the road, pulling back and yelling at the horse to stop, then when we turned the corner that headed straight for home a mile away.... she galloped... full speed. Before that I had never gone any faster than a canter, so its suprising to me that i hung on for a mile... with out any stirrups.

  • @KaylaAnna1995 wow are you serious!?!??!?!

    i havnt fallen off yet

and even when i canter i think ill fall off

    goood job!!!!!!!!!

  • @EarthCanter Haha. Im keeping count of how many times i fell off. I haven't riden since the accident but im really eager to get back in the saddle this summer. (mom wont let me do it in winter.) thats great that you havent fallen yet! how many times have you ridden? the gallop is actually smoother than a trot but i was still bouncing like a maniac! lolz it would have been great fun if I wasnt scared for my life! HAHA

  • @KaylaAnna1995 hhahahah no i havnt galloped that would freak me out and i dont have a big enough space to galllop (at my riding school) thats pretty cool, hahaahha no one can stop me from riding! i love it!

  • @EarthCanter thats good! do you ride english saddle or western?

  • @KaylaAnna1995 english, i have done stock a few times aswell but i have never tried western, definetly something i want to try out, you?

  • @EarthCanter western. i have western in my blood. back in the day my great grampa owned the 3rd largest poultry farm in michigan. he sold alot of his chickens to Campbells Soup! he also owned a few cows. plus 4 horses. :) im not very interested in riding in other styles other than western. but i soon would like to ride bareback. to tell you the truth i cant stand the saddles. i for some reason find them very annoying. thats y i would like to try bareback.

  • @KaylaAnna1995 hahahah i agree, they are! i have ridden bareback, i want to ride western because it has that horn you can hold on to, its simple and easy, whereas english is harder, you have to post trot, and stuff

  • @EarthCanter Yeah, thats the reason I don't want to ride english! haha.

  • She was soooooo good!!! Why did she stop?

  • Who the hell would lose interest in riding?? I started in second and I still love it to death!! :D

  • hey do you have your own horse do you still do riding?

  • wow se is really good

  • I can't believe she lost interest! When I was seven I had riding on the brain just like now! And just like her I have a lot of natural ability! I'm qualified for the YENT! And I'm 11! She probably would be too!

  • seven and a half and cantering!?!?!?!? I am jealous!

  • wow. great riding. she is a great rider to bad she lost interest she could've really made it high in the equestrian world.

  • at 4:10-4:12 she mentions that the horse is doing a lope, not a canter. and that there is a difference between a lope and a canter. I absolutly agree with her. You have to listen very closely.

  • Wow she would have been amazing if she kept at it!

  • Awww she a really good rider shame she lost interest x

  • she was very good for a 7 1/2 year old!! why did she lose interest??

  • how old is she?

  • your great but when you are trotting with no hands you should tie up the reins. I do this all the time at my horse riding but we canter instead of trot and we tie up the reins so the horse doesnt trip or something. Good job though

  • that stupid instructor at just afta 2:20.... y would she say that if the horse canters wen she doesnt have sturrups shes gunna fall off..... way 2 boost ur confidence?!......... ur a great rider!
