Ive got a female yellow belly shes about 6 i feed her mix of cucumber,Prawns and terrapin food

i dont think its a good idea to put your baby turtles in the bathtub because you never know if they carry salmonella and your family bathes in the bathtub so dont put ur turtles in there

i have a problem i have two abby turtles and got them recently. none of them would eat their pellets and i even tried to give them prawns. i but them in a seperate bowl but all they doo is try to swin out of it rather than eat the food also one of them has a soft shell and never swims i thinks its ill....HELP PLEASE

get a nice uva/uvb light and try different food and also use common sense and GO TO A VET!!!

I placed the pellet on a stick and placed it in the water and my terrpin finally ate after that and eventually leanr thow to eat floating food.

put em in large tank and just put prawns for the first 1-2 weeks or bloodwarms alive or the ice cubed ones so yeah mine diddent eat or poop for 5-7 days so its alright iv had mine like 4 month now and they massive well 1s stillrealy small but only had him 1month

thanks but it died...but the one that lived is alive and its biig now...it also poops alot to and the tank get dirty more quickly...basically more work for me =[

if it cant swim its not a turtle, turtles are born knowing how to swim, you have a tortoise learn something about it before u kill it!

hello i got a baby terrapin and i need some advise. Because nomaly it don,t wanna come out of the water and it just stays in their and it sticks it head up for food and for air help!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

That's normal just make sure you have a big enough basking area and a basking lamp. Once the turtle feels comfortable with it's environment it'll come out to bask. It's still a baby so it's normal for it to be a shy.
