i tried that process but unfortunately my usb doesnt boot!... i wonder why. i use xp cd inserted to my optical drive, and then run the intaller and follow all the steps, and i use 2gb trandcend. whats the problem
please help im a newbie i follow what you did and when i using the WinSetupFromUSB then i do what you did there then when i click go it said "grubinst.exe could not backup bootsector (hd1,0)

waste of time, dont watch this, all it is is setting up the usb like a live install. its no different from just putting a windows xp disk in.

will this make it so that you can have xp to USE on any computer like pendrive linux or does it just to INSTALL from the usb like the install cd
