she's what my vocal teacher would call a perfect alto. They know what notes they can hit and what they can't, but don't shy away from songs with notes that are above their register. They instead alter them to suit their voices. It's taken me 7 years to perfect this. I just turned 20 and i STILL can't get it right :(
