  • theyre poor theyre dirty theyre smelly rude lady wasp! X(

  • Eurotrash! Ahahaha!

  • That guy has a really slow moving foot

  • @infestedbigmac That's because we're looking through the perspective of the ant. Think how long it took them to 'walk' over the picnic mat and how long it typically takes an ant to move around. The actions of the ant are slowed down, and so is their perspective view of things.

  • @bibliotheek357 I guess that makes sense

  • I looked at this when I was little :'D

    Love this movie

  • Lol i wonder what would happen to ants if they all had a mind of its own and do what it likes

  • "Do you really wanna be Mrs. Raving Lunatic?"

    LOL

  • 4:05 Omfg, John Lennon. ;D

  • "It's the workers who control the means of production!"

    God, I love this movie!

  • Awwww Yeaaaah! Pepsi!

  • I love how the wasps are voiced by Dan Akroyd and Jane Curtain. They were the Coneheads just a few years before.

  • 7:15 - 7:32 Best scene in this movie!

  • Beat him with that stick Princess Bala! LOL

  • lol i love those dam wasps and i was actually sad when the female wasp died lol

  • Comment removed

  • oh z likes it when bala touches his arm.........

  • THE WORKERS CONTROL THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION

i cant believe they put that statement in, i love this film!

  • 8:48....why does this part remind me of Dan Aykroyd's character getting all lovey dovey with his (at the time) snot nosed, insensitive, bratty fiance in "Trading Places."

  • the part where the wasps wife dies always makes me a sad panda

  • 6:34

  • "Buzz off, pawn of the opressor!"...great thing to say to your teacher.

  • according to a draft I just read, the human is supposed to be a woman

  • Why is the human walking so slowly?

  • why does the female wasp remind me of Angelina Jolie?

  • @terryts2

    She is...

  • @terryts2 Angelina Jolie it must be the eyes. But she's missing the big lips. lol!

  • The movie is actually based on a novel called a Brave New World you can search it up on wikipedia it's really interesting.

  • I remember this movie! XD "There's some kind of force field." What do ants know about force fields? I didn't know they're familiar with Star Trek and Star Wars.

  • Hi. Im mrs raving lunatic. and also i find it a bit wierd that the wasps are english. Im english and ive heard very few people talk like that!!

  • the mob is fickle.

  • @Thyrlix Very True it may be a guy

  • @moviemagic233 only a woman could be that evil. stop it...

  • If I was the human I will just kill the Antz with my thumb.

  • Dam how long is that leg

  • Communism!

  • Z and Flick will make a good team....

  • @JEREX101 and and a movie call Antz Vs A bugs life

  • I love the giant shoe scene, it reminds me of how dramatic human walking truly is for a ant

  • "It's the workers who control the means of production!" AHH THIS MOVIE IS PRO-COMMUNISM XD

  • @journeymanwriter Oh actually it's anti-communism . . . never mind XD

  • 0:13...EPIC WHY... Ima do that next time my teacher tells me to get back to work

  • mandabal = ants version of hitler

  • @shakool2kool More like Lenin and Stalin.

  • Why does the human move in slow motion

  • so apparently wasps are british now. great.

  • the general's speech reminds me of the speech gave by that one dude in Julius Caesar that also changed the peoples minds. god... i would have never made that connection if i were still 5 yrs old and watching this movie... oh how time flies...

  • White Anglo-Saxon Protestants ;)

  • Ooooooh. WASPs. I get it. Flew right over my head when I was younger (no pun intended).

  • May I point something out? You might notice that this animated film is a little bit inclined towards Western Democracy than it is towards Communism. However, lets study the film around the 7.00 mark. What do you notice? Pepsi, Minute Maid, etc etc. Utopia is Capitalist -- it's selling you things in the middle of a movie! But isn't this ironic? This whole film is about escaping the manacles of Commie oppression, when it is in fact the Utopia that is telling us what to think! "Drink Pepsi"........

  • @thehighlandsarealive This is of course deconstructed later on, around 9.40, when you have the moment of recognised delusion (biting the plastic wrap) and the literal "swatting" and "stomping" on the little guy by the forces of Capitalism, in this case Reebok. Capitalist Utopia is a Delusion.

  • JAJAJAJAJAJAJAAJAJAJ, they're Eurotrash jajajaja

  • just killed an ant while watching antz

  • HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU WERE EXPECTED TO GIVE BIRTH EVERY TEN SECONDS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?!?!?!

    hahahaha XD

  • @forevermarching id feel srry for the female! XD

  • i want a moutin dew that big

  • Sad part, is even though he gets the Princess, in a few months 2 million other ants are gonna plow her.

  • darling Woody Allen

  • The female ant...is that Jennifer Lopez?

  • Comment removed

  • @87alsjth: the female ant with weaver the big pubble ant is her, yes

  • The details are amazing- Like for example, you can tell the brand of shoes the evil kid wears are Reebok. Its sad that not many animated movies pay attention to the details any more..

  • @TheLuckyIrish1 Its product placement reebok probably paid for them to feature the trainers

  • A communist society, which is temporarily over thrown by a fascist society, which is then turned into a capitalist society. I love this movie.

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano How does it turn into a capitalist society, exactly? I always thought the society at the beginning was a kind of military dictatorship and that what happens is kind of like a communist/anarchist revolution. Either way, I love this movie too :)

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano Not a capitalist society. More along the lines of a British democracy with royalty.

  • @TekkaSage What you mean to say is a "Parlimentary Republic", which it isnt. But I'm not gunna argue.

  • mandable!!!!! mandable!!! maximus!!!!!, imean mandable!!!!!

  • haha, this is not good ;o

  • The Foreman is such a coward.

  • i love wasp chip & muffy with a passion<3 lol

  • The scream at 9:27 is the princess thinking she's about to be crushed by that guy's huge sneaker. You can tell from the style of dress that it's a guy, probably a teenager in high school or a college dude. His feet are too big to be a girls.

  • I love that ants have their own version of Give peace a chance...!

  • @AnaliCZ158 I hear "give peas a chance" lol. Darn you old school All That!

  • they dont make 3d animation movies anymore like they used to xD

  • Lmao.. This film is so Orwellian

  • I don't need any one! (splash) Herlp! Herlp! XD

  • O_O The poor wasp-lady! I liked her so much! :( T_T STUPID GIANT FOOT!!

  • That guy walks very slowly.

  • Reeboks a ants worst enemy

  • It's even worse! They're eurotrash...rofl

  • What is this, an encounter group? Get back to work!

    Why?

    ...

I'll.. get back to you on that.

    lol

  • I remember seeing the big mountain dew and pepsi cans. Those sandwiches always made me hungry.

  • Wasps have much more freedom than Ants do. I do love Muffy83, she was so sweet. Before she got squashed

  • Would hate to have Bala and the Queen's job. Lol, 10 seconds of birth, everyday!

  • when I was 5 I asked by brother what the wasps were, he told me they were british. a week later I fell into a wasps next and ran away screaming "the british are coming!" good times

  • @evan5642 They arent British, just upperclass.

  • @evan5642 LOL

  • i'm liking them high-waters.

  • ohhhhh the wasps are WASPS! thats so clever! i love picking up on the stuff i missed as a kid!

  • @kaylafreakinrox i still dont understand, wat is a WASP exactly?

  • Why?

yeahhhh revolution! lets overthrow this capitalist society we live in!

  • @kaylafreakinrox actually I think this is more addressing communism

  • @faxmachineman1000 ACTUALLY they are addressing capitalism and in doing so they are promoting a more communist society. in other words: communism is largely anti-capitalism so the film cannot address one without addressing the other. if you had paid attention in sociology class or picked up a book you would know how closely the two are related through opposition, especially in power conflict theory.

  • Comment removed

  • @kaylafreakinrox This movie is not "promoting" communism, but rather the exact opposite. At the beginnig of the film, all the ants are treated as dispensable parts of the greater society and are told to accept that and not ask questions. After Z kidnapped the princess, he dicides he doesn't want to re-join the colony and he want's to take care of himself. Meanwhile, Z's message has spread through the colony and all the ants are questioning the greater good of the hive. Agree with me so far?

  • @kaylafreakinrox Well then lets analyse this shall we. The colony at the beginning of the film represents a Imperialist socialist society where the the word of the monarch is absolute. None of the ants are allowed any private ownership at all, instead, everything belongs to the colony - which the Queen controls. Then in the second part of the film we learn of the generals plan to kill the current monarch and create a purely communist colony, with himself as supreme ruler.

  • @kaylafreakinrox Now in the final Chapter of the film we see Z foil the generals plan to overthrow the current monarchy and intern save the lives of all the worker ants. We then hear through the Z's narration before the credits that the colony was rebuilt and pretty much returned to the state is was in originally, except with a few improvements. Now that original 'government' was an imperialistic solcialist state that is controlled by a monarchy that allows no private ownership.

  • @kaylafreakinrox in no point in the film was capitalism ever addressed, unless you think it was in a metaphorcal sense and the general was actually representing private industy. But we know that's not true of course. Also, please don't get so condescending just because you were corrected. It is very rude.

  • @faxmachineman1000 so you dont think the issue of worker exploitation ever came up? you dont think a theme in this film was the powerful (industry and royalty) taking advantage of the powerless (workers and soldiers)? i was not being condescending. i was being matter of fact because clearly you do not have a strong grasp of what capitalism is. you may have a loose definition of what it is, but you being uninformed does not mean someone else is wrong.

  • @kaylafreakinrox worker exploitation isn't unique to capitalism. Millions of people died of starvation and overwork during the rise of communism in Russia and China alone. Also, there was no industry in this film as there was no private firms buying and selling goods and services with other private firms. The colony is very socialist as no ant could privately own anything - it was all owend by the monarchy. If you can't see this then you don't know as much about sociology as you think you do.

  • @kaylafreakinrox I'm not trying to sound rude but before you start insulting my intelligence, please make sure you at least have a basic grasp of the facts. I am an economics student funnily enough ie. I study capitalism. I think I have at least an adequate grasp of what it is.

  • @faxmachineman1000 no offense, but it does not appear that way. like i said before, perhaps you do have a general idea of what capitalism is, but you do not know how to apply it to society. maybe as an economics major you know the business procedures of capitalism, but you do not know the sociological aspects, which is why you are unable to see how it is a major theme in this movie.

  • Comment removed

  • @kaylafreakinrox and of course I know what the sociological aspects would be if this were addressing capitalism in any way. You would see the colony made up of lots of privately owned businesses, an ant bank, possibly a segregated colony between wealth class and of course - money or currency. Since the very definition of capitalism is the private ownership of capital, I think we can easily conclude that was never present at any point throughout this film. Please explain how you think otherwise.

  • @kaylafreakinrox before you give me another comment telling me I don't know things, do elaborate an arguement that explains how capitalism somehow applies to ant society. I'm very interested in reading it since you have accused me of knowing nothing about the sociological aspects of capitalism. Honestly, if you can point out one moment in this movie that addresses capitalism I would be very impressed.

  • that bubble is indestructible!

  • Is really good story! You can find full cartoon at cartoonsi.co.cc. I have saw cartoon yesterday!

  • That's asteca screaming. Pretty sure the human is male. By the casual jeans + sneakers look, probably a college-age or high school guy.

  • this cartoon was interesting...but it does`nt matter if you`re in the dream or not....in the end you`ll always wake up....so i was not excited....see cartoon on freecartoons-us for free...

  • The attention to detail in this movie that I saw on freecaroons is phenomenal. Every situation and the method in which they're resolved seems perfectly logical and never far-fetched.

  • "Buzz off pawn of the oppressor!"

This is a kid's movie??? Holy shit...

  • ants singing john lennon.... nice!

  • Those sandwiches make me hungry :/

  • lets eat lol

  • i luv this movie its part of my childhood

  • Leading candidate for the year's best movie. From the opening scene to the end, this movie that I saw on freecartoonsus keeps the audience on its collective toes moving in unexpected directions.

  • On 9:15,Muffy gets killed.

  • This reminds me of WW1?

  • Jeez Ants must be thinking we humans are aliens and gross and ugly just the oppsite way we are thinking about them :D

  • Does the speech at 5:02 remind anyone of animal farm?

  • i thought this movie was a g movie

  • i never noticed how much they curse in this movie...so far i heard b#$ch and damn...well sheesh

  • And that guy with reboot shoes walks like that: one step... wait... wait... ok, another leg, move... ok... hold on... now, the first one again...

  • your right! that picnic goes for days .

  • @KJBcooldooky its probably a different picnic then the one the ant that told z about it found. think about it, that picnic seems to be near a water fountain in a grassy field or park, on top of that it appears to be the summer or spring time, so that spot is most likely a popular picnic spot, and most days someone is probably using it for a picnic, plus the picnic was using a generic red and white picnic blanket that lots of people use.

  • WHY????

  • i loooove productplacement -> pepsi/rbk

  • The upper-crust American WASPs , steal the scene for me .

  • "So far i dont need anybody else..."

    *water drops*

    "HELP, HELP ME"

  • The workers control the means of production.

Hell fucking yea this movie is deeper than I thought.

  • The themes in this is pretty deep!

  • @GracelessDementor

I remember watching this when I was six years old and now that I watch it again at 18 years old, the political themes in this is just astounding. It blows my mind to know how oblivious I was to this when I was six. It's just amazing how much you learn over the years about philosophy, history, and government.
