I do remember much of the eastern USA and even Canada had one unprecedented late-season heat wave..in fact, the morning of 10/9/08... NYC's morning low was an incredible 80 degrees F...so...your AWESOME Tstorm may've been caused by cooler air clashing into the very stifling airmass set in place for so late in the year...!! What awesome hurricane-like winds too.... BTW..10/11/07 brought me nice Tstorm here in southern RI..on YouTube... wanna SEE it?
