K, I have een some of these compilations, and I am suprised "Valley Girl" by Frank and Moon (his daughter) Zappa was not included. I lived in So. Cal. during that time, thought is was an excellent "dig" on the Val's.

That first song in the montage, "Run Runaway" by Slade, was covered in the 90s by a Canadian group called Great Big Sea. Most Americans have likely never heard of them, but Canadians have loved the group from Newfoundland over the years.
