I am desperately trying to kind of " emulate " the sampled for " Stripped" , on some analog synths i own , but with poor resoults.
I would appreciate any helping hand from you to get those samples . I tried to look for DST 5.1 trax but the PC said " server error" .......what can i do?
I remember their old 12"....you COULD "hear the joins" sometimes.....nowadays it's so easy with today's gear to make it seamless. I'm glad that someone actually agrees that a remix, in most cases, should contain a lot of the original track elements....otherwise it's more of a re-recording when not much is used from the original.......one of my fav remixes was the Danny Tenaglia "I Feel Loved"..where was the snare drum on DM's original? LOL
Now THAT'S what I call a remix...these days people take a tiny piece of the original and stick it with a crappy backing of their own that has NO feeling.......and if that makes me old-school then YES, I embrace that title LOL!
I agree 100%. I'm much more for "faithful" remixes that keep much of the original instrumentation and beats.
This also holds up well against alternate mixes/remixes DM had at the time (i.e. on maxi-singles) that "showed the seams" and don't sound as integrated by comparison. This remix is smooth, constant, and that's why I think it's top notch.
Fantastic its one of the best DM songs ever and its a old one but still a amazing song and fantastic song they made the guys back in 1986 once again a brilliant remix from the best DM remixer ever just love it andy...

hello fellow ,
i have been trying hard to make covers of DM by manipulating sounds from programs like " Ableton " , or others with bad resoults though .
Could you please give meo some more informations about 5.1.DTS trax ? I would like to find out how to get the opriginal DM samples !
